But that's not how it works! We'll endure another season of dross, Parkinson will get a pay-off and it will be our fault for being impatient! However, if Mal or Jim spent 2 minutes on Wikipedia they'd find out how truly bad Parkinson is as a manager. Win ratio in over 12 years? 37.5%. Jesus wept.♠

I don't think it's Parkinson..this is all based on someone stating the Prince wanted him after watching the Chelsea game isn't it?

What about the League 1 Runner-Up with Colchester in 2006?

He also got Bradford promoted from League 2 in 2013.

So that's more League promotions than Nigel Clough.

He also has a Cup Runner-Up medal.

So that's more Cup runner-up medals than Nigel Clough too.

Where is the feckin ambition? If this is based on HRH seeing Bradford come from behind to win against Chelsea he dunt know what the feckin he's doing.

On the plus side if it is him he can win the fans over by winning every game next season or else.

Their board will be wringing their feckin hands palming him off on us so their Russian billionaire can bring Adkin in

No. We're in a spiral of decline. Every decision our board have to make, they get wrong. And the Geordies moan about Ashley.

At the moment, my Saturdays are planned to be spent away from Bramall Lane and the club. If the board appoint the (in my opinion) right person, ie Robinson, Warburton or Adkins - in no particular order - my plans would be thrown to the wind and a season ticket would be very tempting indeed. If, however, the board stay true to previous form and appoint someone like Parkinson, then my dog will definitely enjoy an extra few hours of my company at the weekend.

Only one man's opinion I know, but I can only speak for myself.

Taking McCabe or Ashley to one side . Could it be the Newcastle United fans think as a club ,they are better than they really are . A bit like us .

What they also have in common is that they are piss poor in appointing and keeping managers . Carver and Morgan both being stop gaps , and all things football club, but are they any good.

McCabe , Prince and board , with sacking Clough ( whether deserved or not ) , have just put themselves under intense pressure to get someone who is right , appointed . The clock is also ticking on player recruitment.

If Parkinson really is the number one target, then how seriously unambitious is that and what was the point of sacking Clough in the first place? Go for someone like Adkins or Robinson and get someone with ambition to match what we want to do.

I can only hope these press reports are overblown and/or that Bradford hold firm.
 
I can see that appointing Parkinson makes sense. NONSENSE. Why replace a manager with one that didn't do as well as the one United sacked for under achievement. The one good point is that we might get John Stead back

Bradford hold firm , ( which is now in the public arena ) , we go for the next guy , who knows he is second choice .
If this goes on i can see Morgan as interim manager , and Bassett as Director of Football. Just see this coming .
Somebody has got to get them 2 CB players and a CF .

To be fair to Parkinson, Bradford's pitch is fucking awful. Hoof may just have been the pragmatic choice.

It's not as simple as looking at the league table and saying Clough is better.
