United's youngsters kick-off their FA Youth Cup campaign on Tuesday night.

The Blades play Bradford City in a first round tie at Bramall Lane, kick-off is 7pm.

U18s coach Travis Binnion commented: "The FA Youth Cup is a big event in our calendar, not least that it gives the youngsters an opportunity to play at Bramall Lane. Bradford will be a tough test so we'd like as much support as possible to cheer on the lads."

Admission is £3 adults (including season ticket holders), whilst U16s and concessions will be admitted free of charge.

0-0 half time. Chances at a premium.

Adkins, Morgan, Baxter, Collins, Flynn, Long, Deano all here. Might be others but I need more stalking practice.

A good cup game. Well done the Blades keeper Ramsdale, a really competent and confident display, took a pen as well, and scored.

Fatty, you missed Ted Hemsley and Del Geary and Tony McMahon in the Bradford dugout. Oh and of course you missed me! You really must try harder! :)

Out Bladespotted. I admit defeat. :(

I did see McGahey. Left with Adams. Up to no good them two I reckon...

Took the chance to have a very brief word with Adkins and thank him for everything he's doing at the club. He said he appreciated that, and let's hope we can turn it around a bit further.

Generally, unless someone is really outstanding and runs the game, I think it's almost impossible to tell how the players will fare in the future but I thought our left back played well.

They were very tall and big and strong.

It was almost like watching the first team when that shot hit the bar.

I'd pick out their number 10 as a prospect - even though he missed their second penalty.

There was a surprising amount of hoof.

Went along out of curiosity bc WHF Jr Sr has played alongside a couple of the team a few years ago.

Good to see the senior pros showing their faces.

Really enjoyed the evening.

Yes I noticed that too. You might think from the first team down they would play in a similar fashion ie play out from the back. Morgs for the 21s doesn't appear too interested in playing out from the back either, now there's a shock!......

Did they have paper Bovril cups? No doubt filled with lager snakebite alcobull!

I also acknowledged NA with a casual raised hand gesture, he looked away, I managed to segue into a forehead scratch, it was seamless!

I have to say that I really liked Flynnie's trainers.

Thought Kelly, Semple and Gordon did well,

The quality isn't quite there but good honest endeavour from the young uns as always, Well done lads.

Looks like a probable trip to Chezzie next round, providing they overcome Stourbridge.

See you there :)

I would have thought Ramsdale would get a mention as he looks a real prospect and can distribute the ball with power and accuracy

Yes he's a good lad, my little un was the nearest ball boy to him in the penalty shoot out and shouted to Rammers to go to his right with the second penalty.

He's taking all the credit for it :D

Wasn't the best game I've ever seen but we played ok. Kelly and Ramsdale were our best players by far but the two centre halves and Gordon had good games. Every shot we had seemed to go straight at the keeper during the game!
