We tried to sign 3 before the end of the window. We state that we will sign at least one of those and at least one more on loan.

In the "pecking order" of 1st team shirts, the youngsters get pushed back.

For reasons unknown to me McGahey ranks in front of Butler and others to date. Reed had his chance on merit but results did not back the bold selection of both those lads.

Maybe McGahey will continue, maybe not, I hope not. Young midfielders have a long queue in front of them and should be sent out on loan for 1st team experience - IMO.

This is a promotion season and we can't afford to be mucking about more than we did in those first two league games.

When we are riding high and the team is playing with confidence, that's the time to blood the young lads, but only in certain fixtures. We are quite a way off "riding high and playing with confidence"!

He's a good prospect, he's more of a winger than a forward though.

Nice kid. Broke his leg at the beginning of last season, but was walking around on it shortly afterwards.

I really rate Reed hes got vision and a nice touch surely he will be in the equation this season one of the best to come out of the academy of late.
