Anyone who went to the game yesterday were they shocked by the defending?
1st goal didn't pick up runners.
2nd LJF got pulled in because of the inability for Collins maguire Doyle didn't put a challenge in.
3rd Elliot allowed to run 30/35 yards before shooting
4th again no pressure when they were passing it freely on half way before putting that killer pass which opened up the defence a tackle should of again been made.

I sat there thinking to myself why let them pass and run it was never going to work. Should of been more committed into the challenges to actually win the ball!
I know this sounds harsh but this is where the game was lost yesterday
Oh and also those 3 sitters we missed at 2-0

A bit harsh in total. I agree about the first goal but Birmingham were very clinical as well. After seeing them beat Wolves I did not think they were that good. I was wrong. Had the Willo/Lowton chance gone in, to make it 1-2 it may have been different.

I felt as though there was a lets concentrate on getting out of this division feel about yesterdays display , as though the result was inconsequential .
Bigger fish to fry, in a small way
Much rather have the rub of the green in the remaining league games

glad you highlighted doyle i think people haven't noticed how bad he has been against any of the decent sides (imo get monty back in the side if no ones interested)

For me Doyle is a good player in this division. When teams come direct he picks the ball up and uses it. Usually it's backwards but it's better than to them! It also allows KMac to get forward except Doyle looks exposed against bigger stronger teams because he has no cover whilst KMac is trying to get us moving forward think it needs more time but could be a good partnership once they understand each other more

Elliots goal was almost a mirror image to the one he cracked in at Wembley in the Play Off final, why didn't someone just clatter him or even close him down a bit?!
