I refuse to believe this team doesn't have ability and cant stay up after tonight, I know how important psychology is after studying it for a degree, but why oh why cant we do that in the league?!! What a great performance and hopefully Miller is now back!

UTB!

We have to get things right in every game, not just think we'll do beat League One teams because we've done well in cup games.

I think we looked very solid today in a 4-5-1. They struggled to find a way through us. I'm glad Clough tried McGinn in the holding role with Coady and Scougall pushing forward, i.e. he reverted the triangle compared to what we've usually done. McGinn proved that he's got what it takes to play Doyle's role.

Chuck Norris Brayford was immense, what a player! Maguire close behind.

The thing we have to fix is shots on target, better ratios for those and we'll improve and win games.

I think we can do that, but 'd still bring an extra striker in.

Shrewsbury on Saturday is crucial and they are a bogey side. We've only beaten them once at the Lane.

Agree with all of that Bergen, overall they kept their shape for 120 minutes, lots of discipline and amongst many good performances I'd say Brayford and Maguire were exceptional.

I think it's time to give this team a clean slate (last one). There is a team in there and whoever is in it from this day forth needs our backing. We need to stay on this cloud

Taking nothing away from Uniteds performance, it was immense. Perfect execution of a gameplan. Aside from a few Poncey bits of cramp, fantastic.

But I doubt that We could've played a shitter side than Fulham. Truly awful and they will go down. Crewe are much better than Fulham, clearly

I'll remind you of this after saturday!

You'll be telling me that we missed Doyle next ;)

Absolutely awesome for me tonight.

All the back four were superb today. Harris looked excellent, Brayford the best player on the park by a fucking mile. Still a long way to go, but i think patience n Clough will be handsomely returned

To be honest Fulham were shite. But that's not our problem. Howard didn't really have a save to make, hard to judge his performance. The back 4 were excellent, the rest did ok. Brayford is proving to be a class apart. Flynn is starting to look the player he's only showed glimpses of so far. Coady looked dangerous too.

The only downsides were Murphy who was slightly disappointing, Porter who did his invisible man impression and Baxter who looks worse every game he plays.

Porters Porter and never looks a threat, can't agree about Baxter though, apart from that woeful free kick thought he caused them far more problems than CP, plus nice corner for the winner.

Agree, starting with Shrewsbury. I've still got mixed feelings about embarking on a Cup run while the league is obviously our priority. So far we've had one suspension and injuries (could be more after last night) from the Cup. Harris could easily have gone last night as well.

However last night could be the catalyst to finally kick start our season. It seems pretty shit that we're in the 5th round after beating two PL teams away, while Wendy have got a virtual bye to the 6th round (they're talking about the semis already on 'Wednesday Heaven'). That's how it falls when you're as fucking lucky as they are.

BUT we simply must win on Saturday. A draw or defeat would make our Cup exploits meaningless.
No time to be churlish, an excellent performance last night - showing levels of fitness, organisation and commitment that must have surprised many. Can't agree with NC's view that Crewe was 'just one of those days'. What about Notts County, Walsall. Shrewsbury? to name just another three where we didn't turn up. And the home form has been pretty abysmal, too.

Onwards and (hopefully) upwards. Just as I think last night was a blow which Fulham will not recover from, let's hope it's lit our blue touch paper!
