I've always rated him, he was one of the better players in the Sunderland team that got relegated ages ago and has got better since then.

I'd like him as well, but given the ROI/Wolves links, not to mention wage restraints as far as we're concerned, then should he move Wolves looks more likely. He also would want to be in the top flight to get into Trapattoni's Euro Qualifying squad at the least.

It's not an a-word issue. It's because we don't have any m-word. People need to get a grip of reality otherwise next season is going to feel more painful than this one.

Thats reight Tony its the m-word ! MANAGEMENT we don't have any..... wasted more money at BDTBL than the labour loonies ...... hang abart thats a bit ott but yer get the drift.

He aint going to drop down a division unless forced or offered a skip full of dosh. Similar scenario to Beattie prior to signing for us. If he dropped his salary by 50% he would still be by some distance the highest paid player at BDTBL. Reality check guys!

I'm surprised this is even a topic of conversation. We havent even a remote chance of signing a player like that. He is Premier League quality and has only lost his place at Stoke as new players have stepped in when he has been out with knocks.

I will be surprised if Pulis lets him go at all as Lawrence is one of his favourites. If he does go anywhere it will be to a PL club. I would be delirious if we signed him - I rate him quite highly.

:D Mojo - correct, Management - hmmm, I still think that's a little unfair, Masturbation? Plenty of that going on!

I remember us being linked with him whilst he was at Mansfield, and the usual suspects on SUISA started pissing and moaning about the club's lack of ambition, looking at Division 4 players. Twas ever thus.....
