Yellow cards, red cards and suspensions

Poster on BM asking the question:

Harry and Lowton both on 4 yellows and a red each, whats the situation regards suspensions?

There is a cut-off date in April I understand, but should either receive a 5th booking before then is another suspension given out?

Also, should there be another suspension due to yellow cards, is it more than a one match ban?

I think it changed on 1st jan to 10 yellows instead of 5 before a suspension

Yep unless you've had a a ban for 5 already then you'll get a 2 match ban, also if you somehow manage to get 10 bookings before the 2nd Sunday in April (and didn't get 5 before 31st Dec) it's also a 2 match ban.
