Might just be lighting the blue touch paper here but I'm struggling to work out this lad.
Main point being, what the hell is he offering us that Cotterill couldn't/didn't? With the amount of ball Yeates had yesterday (could also read last week, week before and week before that), you could almost guarantee that Cotts would have beat a man and got a couple of decent crosses in.
I've seen nothing from Yeates as yet to even suggest we've got some value from him. Can't beat a man, can't cross a ball. For a winger.
For the money we spent on him against what we received for Cotts we might as well have stuck with what we had. I can only come to the conclusion that Cotterill was on big money, but I also can't imagine that Yeates is on peanuts either.
