I can't rope anyone into coming with me to this, so I'll be heading up from London alone. Will probably buy my later today or maybe tomorrow, seeing as I won't need to wait for general sale.

Is that Facebook group still accurate, in terms of pubs? Will try and latch onto a few other London blades so I'm not a total Billy No Mates!

There will be plenty travelling up from London for this game mate, pm me if you fancy meeting up.

You'll probably have to put up with olle as well though ;)

Plenty of tickets left for this one. We've only sold 900.

903 :-)

There were 9 different categories of qualification before general sale - that seems a bit much. I would have qualified in category 8 - Superdraw members - but because Mrs Crouchy wants to come I had to wait an extra day.

Although I'm surprised that we have sold so few, it does seem like they went a bit potty with the categories. I guess that they can't win. A bit like the Pigs :-)

Hey ho - another ground to add to my not-terribly-long list.

* Perfect example of how ridiculous using the points system is for games such as this one. I think I will write to the club/ticket office about this. The loyalty points system for Chesterfield, Wednesday and maybe Huddersfield/Scunthopre might be a good idea. Also any grounds that only offer us a tiny allocation. However everywhere else why not just offer a period for members and then put them on general sale? If people feel the same then I would encourage them to write to club or even just drop an e-mail to ticket office [email protected].

I asked about the loyalty point system at the Tranmere game as I was using two season tickets that had different loyalty points on them. She told me the windows for each tier of points and it seemed odd to me how tight each tier was and how long they went on for before they became general sale, and then how the general sale window was the smallest. I was told they had to implement the system "to get people used to it" presumably for when there is a huge demand for a limited number of tickets.

Presumably they know how many people fit into each band of loyalty points and have based a decision on this but to me it seems like another barrier. Give ST's and high bonus points a few days to have first dibs and then open up the sales on a first come first served basis. Otherwise the ticket office are setting themselves up for a really quiet period followed by a possible deluge of people pissed off at being number 14 on a premium rate number.

It's just ridiculous. Perhaps there has been some work gone into the number of fans in each band, but it is clearly not working. I don't even think there is a need to give season ticket holders with hig loyalty points first dibs if you are not going to sell out. Season ticket holders and members get a week to purchase tickets. Then out them on general sale after. Simples.

Itll be my first of the season and Im looking forward to it. Might even have a bath.

Just collected mine from the Box Office. About 800 left they said (have sold 1200)
