Wouldn't surprise me if the same will happen to Forest, Burnley, Everton etc in a few years time

They've had more players leave than we had in our squad to begin with. Does raise hopes that we might be lucky enough to have 5 or 6 basket case clubs competing for 4th bottom this season, not just us.

The only place we're competing for is 2nd from bottom as I can see.

I saw that, Silent. Guillem Balague I think being a little kind to his fellow Spaniard if we read the same article.

It does conveniently omit the 50m Euros they spent on making Cunha's loan permanent.

They've essentially sold two players for more than €10m and bought two for more than €10m. The rest seems to be just housekeeping of players they bo longer needed or youngsters on loan , apart from Neves who they got a huge fee for.

They still have a squad of 26 players with a market value of around €350m.

But yes, if the point is they are skirting close to FFP then this does seem true. Not quite the poor cousins we are though!

Plenty are complaining of the increase in their mortgages due to interest rates rocketing, imagine the cost though if you have £10/20 million of debt to service.

Plus attendances and shop sales will be down due to the COLC.
