Would you accept Pigs winning....

So in what scenario would you like to see us make the play-offs, considering you’ve essentially said you wouldn’t want us to get there this season?

I would always prefer automatic.

I said I would never want the pigs to win and in my scenario, we would already be in the play offs without having to rely on other teams.

I would always prefer automatic.

And you would only take the playoffs if it meant Wednesday didn’t win to get us there?

Everyone would always prefer automatic, that goes without saying, but with your insistence that you don’t want Wednesday to win ever would you be happy for them to win if it meant we got automatic?

Can we settle on a draw? :D
A boring 0-0 draw.

Your getting love of the blades confused with hatred for the pigs ..fine line .

Haven't seen you here for while and now after the first Wednesday win since the birth of Christ (apart from all the 0-0 wins), as if by magic, you reappear.

Promotion this season's going to be Wolves, Villa, plus an other, in my estimation.

If Villa get automatic, then the play-offs are anybody's.

If Villa finish outside the top two, they'll win them.

So people, you'd rather Wednesday get relegated than have them in the same division? You'd rather play someone else like Bolton or Burton twice a season than your nearest and dearest rivals? I'll bet you'd probably even be checking the scores of the lower division to see how they'd gone on before looking at ours.
Do you not remember this season's trip to Hillsborough? I expect you do and surely that's what you really want ...?

I would take them winning a few games but you have to be careful what you wish for. Nobody wants to see Wednesday wins get out of hand unless then net result is they are mid table and the mighty blades are in the play offs

Absolutely yes. Each and every day and 16 times this side of Sunday.

We really do have some weird 'fans'. To even think this is bizarre but to post it is remarkable. Fuels their fire with the obsessed comments . Embarrassing .

Shock horror - someone has a different opinion to you on a forum so you must resort to attacking the poster.

How about fuck you and your opinion as a ‘fan’?

I notice now the bacon flavoured deluded are already talking about catching us this season, such is their arrogance.

Yeh but you need to remember that they get 1 point for a loss, 3 points for a 0-0 so last nights win entitles them to 6 points!!. That's the world of our deluded pork neighbors!!. UTB. FTP.

The only scenario that I’d want the Pork to win a game is if we’d taken it to the wire and needed them to get points off a team for us to get into the play-offs ahead of them on the last game of the season.

In the situation posed, you'd actually rather Fulham win and deny United a play-off place than Wednesday win and United get into the play-offs?

I would. The play-offs are already a long shot for us. Would I fancy us in a 2-legger against Villa, Bristol City, Fulham? Me neither. Get Wednesday down, a 'place in the play-offs' isn't a fair exchange.

Yeah, they're 'only' 12 points behind us and an inferior GD (-11 as it stands) and with 15 games to play. Oops! 14 for them. Not. A. Fucking. Chance.

I support two teams most Saturdays. The Blades obviously, and the team that is playing the Pigs on that particular day.

Up to 9.40 tonight i was an avid Rams fan. As soon as the full time whistle had gone, Derby became just another irrelevant club to me. I even become a dirty Leeds fan twice a season.

Its a difficult situation that ....... when the dirty L**ds scum play the deluded arrogant South Barnsley ba**ards.

Fortunately, I was able to formulate a solution that allows for this scenario.

The game; leeds vs Pigs is played and regardless of the score-line, both sides lose and are deducted 3 points for being scum. This satisfies all parties; they get to play the game and an appropriate outcome is achieved.

Regrettably; I don't think the Blades hating scum at the FA will go for it ........ o_O

UTB & FTP

I want SWFC to lose every time they play, but I may be able to live with them winning in that scenario.

i am living with them winning at this moment, but I am goin to go to the pub sharpish before it gets swamped with the obnoxious noise of the curly tailed, trotter-footed knobs celebrating their astonishing victory over Derbycelona tonight.

Der-celona would have worked better :)

Providing it’s pronounced correctly, obviously.

As I say above we have a fuck awful record in the playoffs - probably the worst.

We had a fuck awful record in League 1 until CW was in charge.

I long for the days that we are a tier above Wednesday again. I hate playing them. It's such a horrible day. If you win, it is probably the best feeling us blades get to experience in a semi regular basis. However, lose and the feeling is reversed. I don't need that.

I would much prefer to be in different divisions (with us higher obviously). I would even accept them going out of business, such is my hatred of them. However, if a win for them aids success for us, I'm all for it... in small doses granted

I asked a guy at work whether they were any better last night. His response was that not only was it better, it was brilliant. That they battered Derby and it shows that even with their injury problems, they are a match for anyone. I didn't argue because all I knew was the score. However I've now checked the game stats and possession was 60%/40% in Derby's favour and 18 goal efforts to 8 in Derby's favour. Now I know stats don't always tell the full story but you'd surely have to be deluded to think that suggests that Derby were stuffed......oh, hang on.
