Wordsworth isn't a winger, he's a left footed central midfielder. Can play wide but nothing like a conventional attacking winger.

He seems to have found a bit of form after stagnating for a while, maybe he could be worth a look, he's versatile enough to cover a few positions and out of contract in the summer so would be fairly cheap. But if we were in for a Southend player I would've expected it to be Stephen McLaughlin.

Wilder said in his recent interview that he wants to bring in a midfielder and a winger. I assume this guy is one of the midfielder options and would be a good signing for us IMO as he's also a lefty.
