Sorry - should read After Match Comments - not good dropping h's
Whilst I don't expect him to come out and 'lambast' his players I was rather perplexed at his comments !
He thought the side played well, blamed the referee for not giving two penalties and said the team played really well!
Not something I wished to hear from our manager after another poor home result!
To date we have dropped 25 points at home, failed to score in the last two home matches and the manager sounds really pleased!
Obviously, Mr Wilsons standards are set very low - I for one certainly expect more from a Sheffield United side that is bereft of pace, ability and passion!

First of we played well but just couldn't produce that killer ball. On another day the cut backs would've landed on kitsons left boot.

Having said that. The formation should have gone to 4-4-2 long before the 80th

why do you prefer to state we have not scored in 2 home matches rather than we have not conceded in 6 or 7 games home and away ?

Sitters - you are not reading my posts! I've already said that the defence is playing well and looks solid - whilst I agree if you keep a clean sheet you earn yourself points but unfortunately if you don't score you ain't going to win many games.
My view (opinion) is that in Wilsons preferred formation we do not have the players with the ability to create wins at home, away its a different game when the onus is on the home team to try and get a win!
Yesterday, I thought Murphy was very good in the first half and obviously tired in the second - I thought Flynn abysmal
Wilson use of substitutes is also very questionable - Poleon had little chance to affect the game by the time he was brought on - Robson took a knock at the end of the first half and was much less effective after the break!

What, Like being top rather than second?

But next week we could be fifth or sixth it's that close when it shouldn't be -with our resources, wages and squad we should be top of this league given the points we have given away!
The league is poor - being second in a very poor league is not necessarily because your standards are high

But if Forte had put the chance away the substitutions would have been applauded. Small margins.

But, Forte should have put the chance away - in a game of few chances they are the difference!
Perhaps Wilson should have started with Forte and hauled him off in the second half like he did with Murphy - still think Wilsons use of substitutes is questionable!

I get the text messages from United. What game was Wilson watching?

'Fans kept us going right to the death, but we didn't get the goal we deserved but wasn't for the lack of trying. Some perplexing decisions for both teams'

You have to create chances to score goal, you don't play 4-5-1 until the last 10 minutes and you certainly don't let their keeper play it short every fucking time. That was driving me bonkers!

I don't see that in his post. Anything wrong in expecting or demanding better of thing you love?

I thought in parts we played well yesterday, without creating a great deal. Clean sheets are important, but goals warm the cold feet. Ah well on to Crewe on Tuesday.

No, I just expect better - Having supported them all my life I want to be proud of my team - at the moment I feel cheated by their continual under performance lacking passion and commitment!
If you think that is hate then you're grossly mistaken!

frustrating drawing, but and not as an excuse have you seen a table with home and away records, our home record isnt thrilling , but only brentfords lost 1 less and non of the top clubs are dominating at home, in fact

top 8
doncaster d 4 l 6
blades,,,,, d 8 l 3
swindon ,,d 7 l 5
tranmere d 5 l 5
yeovil,,,,,,, d 2 l 5
brentford d 6 l 2
bournemo d 6 l 4
coventry , d 5 l 8

so no ones built a fortress
and all season we have conceded just 29 goals for perspective
wednesdays conceded that many at home
