Great.

That's exactly the same situation all over again, same injury, same recovery date. Massive blow.

Henderson's having a hernia operation.
Taylor's having an operation that will see him ruled out for two months.
Quinn's having another operation on his toe (why the hell did he start today?).

And we thought we'd be able to get everyone fit over the summer. Is this bad luck ever going to end? If it doesn't there's no way we'll be able to improve on this season's league finish.

As good as he's been I don't think Williamson has been worth it tbh. We were had.

If he would've avoided injury I'm absolutely sure we'd be saying he was worth it - he's looked excellent at times but his injuries have prevented him from doing it consistently.

I don't think he's got a history of persistent injury problems either, so on the face of it it was a good signing for us.

Bad luck, blah, blah, blah.

How about a shit manager signing a crock?

Id rather point the finger at our fitness & Physio training rather than the 'Blackwell is shit camp'
for that look to the KMC school of cutbacks........

£14M suggests there were no cut backs, the coming season will see us sign dross and struggle when the actual cut backs kick in.

It is daft pointing the finger at Blackie for the injury situation but the waste of £14M can be squarely left at his door.
I thought he had done well under difficult circumstances with budgets cut, turned out he squandered £14M.

We were given the impression that Blackie had a difficult task. In fact McC has backed him more than we ever thought he was doing but I can't see Blackie having the same support next season.
Sad fact is if Blackie can't do it with £14M he has no chance with less than £10M. Whilst McC hasn't let on what the budget will be it is fair to assume a sizable cut back of say 25% otherwise why mention cut backs at all?

So it's the managers fault that we've had something like 42 separate injuries this season? Get a grip. You can't blame him for that amount of injuries and you can't blame him for Williamson's problems either.

And if you take the time to look at Williamson's career stats, you'll see that he's averaged at least 35 appearances in every season.
