I'm sure he will, I think he might be feeling a little pressure though, as that's 3 games gone and no more goals.
Think we should break out the Billy chants on Wednesday and give him a boost, really deserves to be hitting the milestone as soon as possible!!!
Come on lad!!
And on the flip side, how good is it to see Freeman hitting double figures!!! He's been brilliant this season, and he's another that deserves it!!
In fact everyone deserves massive praise, and by that, I mean everyone at the lane!!!
Party poppers and hats at the ready!!!

Seems to keep drifting away from where he should be, he was like this with Clarke??
Maybe he just isn't comfortable playing with a big target man!?

We create a lot less chances with Hanson up top .

We do. Hanson wins a lot of headers and is proving his worth but we are creating less chances but converting a higher percentage.
So to sum up. .....who gives a fuck.
The Blades are going up.

We've got the deadliest defenders in any league ! They've contributed so many goals this season - great first half today and a great result.

Not if he doesn't geor pissin about on the wing

Shit teams like Millwall are resorting to man-marking Billy as though he's Ronaldo. So Billy is pulling them wide and it messes up their defensive formation. The trouble is, with Billy going wide and crossing the ball in, there's no Billy in the middle to take advantage. Catch 24!

Think hes trying a little too hard for the team ie to many times on the wing. Stay around the box Billy and you will get your goals.

Playing with strikers like Done or Lavery means Billy doesn't have to run the channels as much, it's as simple as that. He ain't in the box so isn't getting as many chances.

He was miles away from Hanson who was winning headers. Same earlier in season with Clarke.

Sharp and Hanson is really quite similar to Sharp and Clarke.

It's just that Hanson is playing in a fully functioning team. Clarke rarely got the chance to do that.

Neither are ideal partners for Sharp. He needs someone who can run, work the wide areas and give him the ball to feet. Lavery's our best bet by a mile, but unfortunately he's been overlooked too often this season.

Agreed, Lavery is on 4 goals which is pretty impressive given how much he has been in and out of the team.

If he'd been given a proper run in the team like Done and Hanson have, I've no doubt he would be on 10-15 goals.

To me Sharp and Lavery are our only 2 strikers that are mid table Championship quality. I personally wouldn't be bothered if any of the rest are sold, hopefully at least 3 will be moved on.

But that still leaves us lacking height.
With Hanson we are winning it in the air but because sharp has had to take the defence wide, we're then missing him centrally.
This is where I believe O'shea fits in, romping forward and latching onto the loose balls.
Chapman could also help to pull the defenders wide, but how do you fit them in right now!?!?

Sorry what, Hanson was winning headers? Tonight? I think one needs to look at the tape before you pick on your next cubby horse!

And then I think you said something about Clarke winning headers. I was too busy laughing :)

We have a prolific striker who is the top scorer in the league. I feel we have an astute manager who is using this fact to give us other options to make us less predictable.

The fact is that the plan is working. I don't feel the need to analyse each individual player's performance and trust Chris Wilder to manage the whole picture and keep on getting the right results.

It's very fortunate that others,Freeman in particular are doing what the second striker should be doing, because if Sharp had been injured earlier in the season things would look very different.
I agree Lavery is by a country mile the natural partner for Sharp and brings the pace we so glaringly lack up top.
Before folk jump up and down with the "We are this,we are that" routines, observing areas we very much need to massively improve on for next season isn't slating anyone, simply pointing out areas where improvement is vital.
I have no doubt none of this has escaped Wilder and he will sort out the forward line long before the new season, along with any other areas.

There was at least 3 in the 1st half that Hanson won and Billy was back on his heels or miles away from where it was clearly intended to go. I agree that Billy is targetted and marked closely but I thought he was well off the pace last night.

Sharp is playing with a slight groin strain, which is no doubt effecting his performances.

Hopefully a weeks rest will do him the world of good.

This is absolutely true. I thought Hanson had a superb battle with their defenders, but Billy wasn't anywhere near. TBF, last night wasn't his 'type of match' against their massive defenders, but he should have looked for ways to be more effective.

It happened numerous times mate. It happened even more when Wilder saw the Clarke Sharp partnership as the way forward.

he wont get them unless he stays around the penalty area and not keep going wide looking for the ball. Id tell him to stay round the penalty area and let Freeman and the rest go wide

Come on Billy the pressures off now!!!!

Feel abit sorry for him today!!
