Brilliant.

I don't care about Bolton, what they've done so far, how they're struggling etc etc.

I care about us and only us.

He must be one of the only managers in the top few divisions that went on the PR speaking course and basically told them to Foxtrot Oscar!

Where's the heart emoji!

I noticed this part of the interview with interest.
Normally Chris has no problem giving a brief opinion about the opposition- usually talking them up to some extent, but distinctly and repeatedly refused to say anything at all this time.

You might say it's because there's really not much to say that's positive, but i seem to remember he still gave at least a cursory summation of the lower ranked teams in league one when we played them last year.

Perhaps there's some bad blood with Parkinson or the club? Or am i just reading too much into this..

Well I think Wilder made a few comments regarding Parkinson following our home dominance of them.

Parky was interviewed saying Fleck should have been sent off and that they were well in the game. Wilder was wondering what game he was watching.

he gets better and better, the suffrage of the last few years are more than worth it to Wilder and Knilly with us :)

I was thinking the same. He usually does have a few things to say about the opposition doesn't he, usually complimentary?

Message to Mardy Parky - you've made our Chris angry, there'll be a price to pay...

seem to recall some ridiculous comments from the Bolton chairman too. Made a right fool of themselves and showed zero class or respect to us after we beat them comfortably.

I definitely seems that Parkinson and Tufty are not as good friends as they were. I recall Tufty saying that he was friends with him from their days at Southampton as juniors together. Maybe friends was too strong a term but certainly there was a respect and friendliness between them that seems to be less so after we played them. Parkinson wasn't very gracious in defeat and I recall Tufty saying why not just give credit where credit's due.

I remember in the Bolton post match interview Wilder did mention Parkinson and also the Scunthorpe manager.

Apparently Parkinson was saying how it was an even match and we scored a hotly disputed penalty because Samir Carruthers dived/ cheated. He was blaming the ref for the defeat. Wilder said the 1st half was more even but in the 2nd half we dominated and thoroughly deserved the win. Let's be honest here Bolton were a well beaten side in the 2nd half and looked poor.

He said that he gives credit to the opposition when required instead of looking for excuses.

He mentioned the Scunthorpe manager Alexander also said how it was an even game and Scunnie hit the post could have been 2-0 up.
Wilder again said it was a game we thoroughly dominated from start to finish so he's confused how Scunthorpe manager thought it could possibly be an even game.

Basically he was really dissapointed how some managers make excuses and don't give the opposition (us) the credit we deserve.
