I remember saying after the first 4 games that we had got the wrong guy in but how he proved me (and many others) so wrong.
The football from then on was superb and it was the beginning of a terrific run that saw us only lose 3 more league games to the end of a fantastic season.
It was the start of an era where he mades some shrewd signings that eventually took us to the Prem.
Got to say in my time of going to watch the Blades in the early 60s up to now ,it is my fav season only probably matched by Bassetts Promotion, culminating in that fantastic day at Leicester.,
