RE =Most post-war Steel City derbies won as manager of Sheffield United or Sheffield Wednesday
🥇
John Harris - 6
🥈
CHRIS WILDER - 5
🥉
Neil Warnock - 4
Hopefully CW never gets the chance to extent his record as the Conferance beckons the porkers

Reckon he’s finally got it right. Last season we weren’t even playing well just grinding out results, now we’re playing actual good football and the amount of goals we’re scoring reflects that. Playoffs here we come
Don't expect the same next season, I'm sure wilder won't like the amount of goals we're conceding plus he's talked about getting back to being pragmatic in our play

I’d be interested to know how Wilder compares on a points per game basis. I’d be shocked if he wasn’t top on that list with him managing 30 matches so far.
Wilder - P31 W15 D3 L13 - 1.55 ppg
Clement - P22 W13 D3 L6 - 1.91 ppg
Hellberge - P19 W11 D3 L5 - 1.89 ppg
Eckert - P24 W14 D5 L5 - 1.96 ppg

Might include cup games but even so, Wilder has done a great job, these other 3 have better records. Clement especially as Norwich looked doomed

All we need is a little tweak now for next season, wilders not daft he knows this. Our attacking game is pretty much there and on point now. All we need is to strengthen at the back & stop the silly goals.

Wilder has always had a decent defence, and I think thats where he will focus on for start of next season.

Funny when you think about it, this season was opposite & all we needed was a tweak to our attacking game, since the defence was sorted. Instead we took a sledge hammer to everything.

Be like goldilocks, (albeit skewed in middle), 1st time back in championship, too defensive (boring), 2nd season, too exposed and open (but exciting and attcking), next season be just right ;), mark my words.

You’ve not factored in the massive decline in income next season and likely loss of key players.
We aren’t going to simply roll this squad into next season.
Now Wilder is exactly the right manager to do a low income rebuild but we’re unlikely to be “tweaking” next summer.

That’s what I was expecting, the post made it seem as if Wilder had the best record when it’s not.

Wilder has done a decent job, but definitely still room for improvement.

Ive factored in the loss of players such as hamer & Peck. But we could replace those for the money we would receive.

I understand we are going to be back being skint, and I think we will see a few outgoings (a lot of these signings Wilder doesnt like).

But again what we can trade off we can bring in decent replacements.

My only worry is getting in a decent centerback whos dominant in the air and can play a bit, to partner Tanganga.
