Can't blame you in the slightest and you really could do with taking the rest of the season off. Always enjoy reading them, but like you said in the Pod, the last 9 games are quite literally pointless.

It’s absolutely vital for them that they don’t get relegated. Their worst scenario is to be 7th in L1 whilst we’re at the top of the championship, winning most of our games. If we “do a Norwich” and they “do an Ipswich” it will take them a long time to recover. And if Chancer throws his toys out of the pram, they may never.

When we were on the rise, with, until March 2020, a seemingly unstoppable momentum, many of them would console themselves with the mantra that we, as a club, would eventually do something self-inflicted to mess it up because we always do.

And, frankly, we've proved them right.

Irrespective of which individuals are most to blame, the fact is that the club as a whole has contrived to rip out its own heart and completely wreck itself. Again. A golden opportunity to build and establish the club has gone.

However what I will say in this scenario of fucking it up is I didn't and certainly none of us could've anticipated the rise of a global pandemic being an element of it. We wouldn't have been quite this bad with a packed and rocking BDTBL but probably still in some trouble.

Weren't the stars starting to align for us in the top flight, then came the outbreak of WW2! Maybe 2020 is our 1939 all over again?

One of the best threads on there is where they all trying to convince themselves how much they are looking forward to playing in a 'proper league (League 1) next season as it's not 'money orientated', has 'proper clubs' in it, and how they'll 'take over' the stadiums once they are there as they'll be the 'cup final' for most teams already there. The term 'sleeping giant' also raises its head once of twice, too!

To be absolutely fair, Neil is actually quite respectful towards us and CW for the most part. There are though, some real bellends that just spout complete lies.

They are still hurting, though, just like us. I honestly don't know how either Sheffield team would have coped without the other one this last 12 months.
