Wilder and the Wimp

Hard to see what was going off from the BLUT. What happened precisely? Thought I see Wilder push someone but imagine he was provoked.

First 25-30 minutes we were there for the taking. Bournemouth looked dangerous coming forward and we looked very poor. So instead of trying to capitalise on that and get ahead, what did they do? Try to kill the game, roll around on the floor, and let us regroup and come right at them.

I mean, thanks for doing that, but can anyone else figure out why they did it?

Surman pushed Wilder. It’s unclear who actually started it as the cameras didn’t show it, but it happened after Wilder was annoyed about the referee giving a foul against Egan for that 50/50 challenge.

Egan's foot missed the Bournemouth player who went down like he'd been shot anyway. Wilder unsurprisingly wasn't that impressed and seemed to share that opinion. Surman took exception to that and got involved.

So they can fuck off back to the fourth division where they belong.

Only played us today because they cheated to get here.

Good riddance hopefully to both them and West Ham. Pity Leicester can't make it a dream threesome.

Watching on TV ball went out AK got ball Surman thought it was a Bournemouth ball so tried to get passed Wilder to get ball off AK who took offence and told him to "go away" Surman pushes Wilder he pushes back AK laughing behind him saying its our ball bit of handbags and that was it. Surman walks off with tail between legs, blades throw in. Ref as usual only saw latter half as Wilder reacted and gets booked.

Nerves, I think. Their confidence is a bit fragile.

More like cowardice than nerves. They're a good enough side to take the game to us and they were getting a lot of joy from doing just that, but then so many managers seem to have that Clough approach where one goal away from home is plenty and it doesn't matter if there's ten minutes on the clock or seventy; it's time to ruin the game.
