Why was there no minute's applause in memory of Keith Alexander on Saturday? There seemed to be one at all other grounds judging by the highlights.

I only saw it on the highlights at clubs who had some sort of connection with Keith Alexander.

Personally I think the minutes silence/applause/black-armband is done too often, and gets somewhat devalued as a result.

I hate minutes' applauses. It only serves to mask people's ignorance of a true show of respect, a minute's silence. Gets on my tits when they still refer to it as a "spontaneous" minutes applause as well.

BRING BACK THE SILENCE.

If Crouch ever carks it via a low flying plane or something I do hope we'd remember him in the fitting manner, with a minute of silent boddy popping.

That would be a dangerous precedent.

What about those players who celebrate with back-flips?

If that is the case when Klinsmann snuffs it I'm missing the next home game. The Kop ain't big enough for that kind of thing.

Is it wrong to wish Peschi a swift exit?

24,000 'OH MY GOD'S' would be far better than the shit we've been watching this year
