I'll be there with my gruesome twosome. My youngest is 8. It will be his 34th League ground, although technically 33 as the Ricoh doesn't count anymore.

I'll be there, but on the corporate do as my company is doing the match sponsorship. Unfortunately, they don't have corporate boxes at Ashton Gate so I'm going to be in the middle of their main stand in the comfy seats, trying to avoid antagonising the locals following a few too many pre-match beers.

I'll be going, it's a home game for me, my son is too, he'll be the only Blade there with a Brizzle accent I suspect (poor bugger I wonder if he'll ever forgive me for pusuading him to be a Blade). My sister and brother in law are also coming down and making a weekend of it, so if anyone is in town after we'll see you in the Apple and the Old Duke.

Once they're ticked off, they're ticked off, it's 34 :)

Bristol City - when the fixtures came out this was one I was planning on going to, but can't afford now so instead it's looking like Maltby v Brid Town!

Always get to Bristol City away as I have a lot of ex-work colleagues down there. Good night out afterwards. Should be a good game between two improving teams (well neither City or us could get any worse!)

Definitely one for all-time classic away games. Was it the first leg of the relegation-from-the-Second-Tier play-off (we had them back then) in the mid-'80s?
Remember the second leg back at BDTBL when Colin Morris scored a beauty but, as is always the case when the Blades play a vital match, we lost on aggregate and went down anyway. Think the match at Ashton Gate finished 0-0, plenty of crowd trouble and the infamous 'pants' incident.

We lost the away leg 0-1, lots of blades there and a very tasty atmosphere. I was there but have no memory of the 'pants' incident....what's that all about then?

Am guin t this one. Can't sey am reit lookin forrard t match. Lookin forrard t sinkin a few ales mind. Was hopin for a bit of banter, so hopefully all meet sum uvver Blades n not just be stuck wi moDtheGod n BladeInThatcham

did the pants incident take place at a service station? I remember a group of lads with a line (like a washing line) of pants.

I remember the walk back to the car after the match, I was part of a family group of 5 including a 12 yr old lad, his 14 year old sister and their non football savvy dad. We were being followed by a group of menacing Bristol lads. I did not want to alarm the others but I was sure we would get jumped. It was bad and really important to get to the car and inside asap. Inexplicably the 12 year old turned round and started singing ' Sheffield United'........... I think he thought they were Blades. Then a police car came slowly round the corner and down the street. We got into the car and off. The others remained unconcerned and oblivioius,
