End of season, pre transfer window, pre euros boredom well and truly kicking in. Here's my take on reliving the good old days.

A poll on who your favourite full back was in the latest prem season, 06/07.
I was going to start with the keeper but since Paddy played virtually every game it's pointless...

So we have:
Leigh Bromby - master of the long throw and a decent footballer but a lack of pace hindered him in the prem.
Del Geary - mr tenacity. Gave it all then more, what he lacked in height he made up for in heart. Retired far too soon, due to an awful injury.
Rob Kozluk - the joker. A good full back on his day and a great servant. What we'd do for one of them back this year!
Chris Armstrong - what a player he was on his day. Looked at home in the Premiership and should've never been sold. Real shame about his illness.
Matt Kilgallon - not known as a full back but Warnock played him there when we signed him from Leeds. Didn't look up to much...

I don't see a point including Alan Wright, he virtually only played against Arsenal!

When this vote is up, Centre Halves!

Del Boy was excellent, all heart and if we had even 1% of him we'd be worth watching

Fuck me those are some poor 'premiership' players. Kilgallon wasn't ever any good at left back, out of those I'd pick Geary but let's not kid ourselves that he was ever anything but a tryer.

Naughton, Borbokis, Lowton and Walker were all a class above those in that list.

We really should have got better full backs in. But we just signed David Sommeil and left it at that.

How about Phil Jagielka for his one appearance at full back against Wigan :)

Del was the one I thought coped admirably. The others weren't much cop, although Armstrong was a great player on his day.

Think Geary's tenacity and passion drove him through and he would probably still be playing now if it wasn't for his injury. I think he played well in the prem compared to the rest, a winger never had it easy against him put it that way.

Technically it was Kilgallon at the time, but it'll be a cold day in hell before I ever favourably vote for that cuntwaffle.
