Who is going to be the legend?

I've had less faith in your Gert since she stopped swinging her arse around. I don't think her heart is in it any more.

I promised ollie that BT might become important before the end of the season.

As it stands, a goal a game could earn us 6 points...

So the plan, concede nothing and we don't need 5 goals to win games

That's crazy talk. Was there ever such a time when this was the case?

If Beattie does come good i'm pretty sure that'll cancel out any beers that i might owe Ollessendro anyway! :D

OLLIE, If BT gets the goal to send us up on Sat (or next week) would he have been worth it?

Beattie is the only one who can kick it anything like as hard as Ched, surely that has to count for something. Get it to him around the edge of the area and hope he smashes it in in emphatic style! Surely no matter how much you lack match fitness, you can still kick it really, really hard.

Kevin? Long time, no see! Welcome back.

Ha, not quite, otherwise I'd have been championing Ched and Beatts as our centre half pairing this season. Although Harry can kick it pretty far too, and with little accuracy, so he fits the Blackwell bill.

Seriously though, I do think Beattie's ability to shoot from outside the area, which luckily doesn't require any pace or skill, could be useful. Cresswell and Porter only seem to be able to score from being in the right place at the right time. One of them plus Beattie could be worth going with for the final stretch and might just see us over the line.

Did I hear my name mentioned? Suddenly Beattie, who has been outscored by Porter and is our 5th (now 4th) choice striker is going to save the day?? Deary me. Anyone suggesting this cannot have watched him this season.

The funny (or worrying) thing is, that i found myself thinking maybe he should start on Sat-di. He cannot be worse than the innefective Hoskins was (though Hoskins has scored in his last 3 years) and O'Hallarhan is more of an impact player (or headless chicken with pace as I prefer to say). Porter should be 'rested' for Cressy, so maybe BT should start up top.

If Beattie fires us up, then I will jump into the quay at Exeter naked singing 'nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah Beattie!!!!??

ha ha I love it how we've exhausted all other options except, the bloke who kicks it the hardest :)

Thats made my morning

How things move on, now 3rd Choice!!! If Hoskins has his op, Cresswell not fit, Evens palying for HMP Slade with Ronnie Barker, leaves us with Porter, Headless Chicken and Beattie. Happy days if they do the business.

Can you get someone to video your entry into the water for the forum please.

In the unlikely event that it happens, then Swiss will do .....

(oh and Cressy is fit, so that puts BT down as 4th choice striker :) )

Nop Ollie, we'll chuck you in :) They'll be queing around the block to do that ! I'll start selling tickets :)

From the very moment we signed Beattie i said beattie would only score one goal. And that goal would prove decisive.
Hope to God i'm right.
*touch wood*

Re: Beattie, Olle has been right so far can't dispute that.

Something just tells me he is going to step up to the mark this weekend when called upon. Cometh the hour, cometh the man.
