He sounds like he was quite a character though, getting his dog drunk on Theakston's?. I don't suppose it would have taken much Theakston's to get a Yorkshire Terrier drunk though. Even though Theakston's ale is weak as piss it would probably be too much for a Yorkshire Terrier, all being told.

I used to have a Border Collie, really intelligent dog. I once got it drunk on Sam Smiths. Never again. It became very argumentative and humiliated me in front of my friends by constantly correcting me about the topography of the Carpathian Mountains and the true inspiration for Bram Stoker's famous novel.
