The 2m rule seems certain to change to 1m, along with outdoor drinking on pub pavements, car parks and beer gardens.

Which local pubs are likely to have big or multiple screens, with decent beer, and adhere to the new requirements?

Any ideas or people heard of pubs planning to offer updated “viewing” options please?

Burnley game looks like the first opportunity to watch one of our games with fellow fans to enjoy an atmosphere, rather than the sterile tv offering at home!

Can't see them being allowed to show sport for a while to be honest, not for the rest of this season at least.

I suspect they'll probably only be allowed to screen sports outside. Can you imagine watch a game inside with 1 metre between each person?!!

I think part of the reason so many games are on free to air platforms and they are practically giving away sky sports subscriptions is to stop people gathering to watch the games.

The Bundesliga coverage has shown very small distanced gatherings in bars etc so it may be possible. However over there I’d imagine it’s far easier for a bar just to shove a tv in the corner and stick the match on than it is here.

If any places are showing them I’d expect you’d either have to pre book or turn up and queue outside. Either way it will probably be far less hassle just to watch it at home.

Would make sense for bars to sell tickets, or just do freebies on a first come first served to stop people piling down to get in on the day

Honestly I just don't get the clamour to rush to a pub with all sorts of regulations to watch a synthetic game behind closed doors. Just better to stay at home watch it on TV in comfort without regulations and get a drink when you want one instead of waiting to be waited upon where each drinks order will take close to 30 mins.

I’m terrible at watching games on tv, I’m just about ok watching it at home at with my kids. Couldn’t imagine watching a game in a pub.

Honestly I just don't get the clamour to rush to a pub with all sorts of regulations to watch a synthetic game behind closed doors. Just better to stay at home watch it on TV in comfort without regulations and get a drink when you want one instead of waiting to be waited upon where each drinks order will take close to 30 mins.

I'm not anti Sky but I am anti BBC (the broadcasters) they aren't having another penny off me and for that reason it's been the pub this year.

I have heard no TV sport or music. If they show sport do you really think any social distance will be kept? I don't. Also people shouting will just vastly increase the risk of the virus spreading. The distancing measures have reduced the spread so far but the virus is still out there and is still killing people.
