The fact youll slag Mcburnie but again throw Sharps name in there is mindblowing. If it was Mcburnie missing them at Southampton i expect youd have popped a hernia.

Sharp is an sufc legend but if you could get a grip at some point this year it'd be great lad.

See his name much on this thread?
No.

Which tells its own story of how a high percentage of our supporters view our, quote, “club legend” at this time.

Maybe this is the year for y’all to be right for once and that his legs will finally give in ?

Maybe 😀👍.

I like Sharp. No i love him. But i wont judge him by different standards, which you seem to want to do.

I would rather see us create more chances than have a striker witchhunt tbh.

Witch-hunt. Witch-hunt ????

Pathetic.

Let me tell you a story.

I had the privilege of the company of a Leicester City fan and a Blade this last weekend.

Said Blade is a former Pro having worked under, amongst others, Sir AF and Martin O’Neill.

The Leicester bloke has worked in footballing analytics and was, albeit a few years ago now, a footballing adviser to the Thai family owners of the club.

As you might expect, the subject of football cropped up and, eventually, found its way on to the subject of our £20m super striker.

Now first of all I believe it would be fair to say that these two fellas will have forgotten more about football than the average numpty that inhabits this very forum.

Suffice to say I found their respective views on “innit bro” more than interesting 😉.

As I have said earlier in this thread, let’s just wait and see how things pan out this season.

Perhaps I will be wrong about him. You never know !!

Not you though eh dronnie.

Ex players are known for their quality insight, just look at the pundits on TV and radio. Had us bang right didnt they?

I take it all back.

We could probably bounce this thread throughout the season.
It's funny how soon the milk turned sour, isn't it? Isn't it?

I feel like a pairing of McBurnie and Burke is like having Marcelo and Katchouro up top but they cost a lot more money :(

We all know Sharp isn't the long term solution...but... given the other options at the moment he starts for me even if it's just for 60 minutes.

Billy is an impact player McB needs a change of luck in front of goal (has he got boots on wrong feet), I'm hoping Brewster turns out to be a diamond in the rough. It's a shame Moose is always injured but sometimes you find players like that sadly, at his best and fittest he'd be a great asset just not at minute.

Perhaps CW may try Burke and Brewster up front from start of a game and see how it develops, surely we're due a change of luck in front of goal the only difference is we need to score goals, we can't rely on pens every game like Man Utd.
