We can't have missed him mate, apparently he's crap and i'm sure we've been doing great without him.
I do think young Quinn has stepped his game up since Monty's been out,or does he just look better in a dire team.

Why are we missing him? Didn't he play in the previous shocking performances? It's as though he's some mythical beast who'll rise from the shit heap and save our season, despite being one of the main contributory factors to where we find ourselves today

Well, I think he's been injured twice this season but I'd hazard a guess our results were probably better when he was in the team.
Montster hasn't been the problem.

So you'd "hazard a guess" which means you haven't got a clue, c'est la vie. Bottom line is that it's a team game, and so when we're crap it's the collective and not the singular, as part of that collective, Monty has been and always will be a part of the problem. He can't play football.

Its not just Monty that is the problem. The problem is the squad is full of average mediocre players who don't care about the club as long they get their wages.

Since he's been injured recently, we have one point from four games, dunno what the stats were previously but, as I said, I'd be surprised if the average points per game is not better when he's played.
He's played at Championship, upper level, and Premiership all his career.
Montster has been the very least of our problems.
There's lies damn lies and statistics. You can trawl up as many as you like in an attempt to say we need him, but that facts of the matter are he's never been a footballer, and thats why we couldnt stay in the premiership and failed in our last promotion bid. He WAS part of that wasn't he? I just read a thread regarding building a squad around chimps and that guy has it bang on the head. Instead of being one of the ones offered a new contract the club should have ordered him a taxi. Tell you what, if he gets back from injury I hope Adams teams him up with Doyle and lets see what happens then. Dream team or what!!!!!!!!

Luckily the rest of our players have stepped up to the plate admirably and have filled the enormous gap left by the legendary Ploddy.
Cresswell has taken over the 'total inability to control a football' role; Doyle has taken to misplacing passes like a duck to water and Collins is proving a very satisfactory conceder of penalties. Not only that, the whole team has rallied to the cause and more than made up the deficit left by The Maestro's zero contribution to our attacking effort. Close your eyes and it's as though he's still out there chasing shadows with the best of them.
So no, we are not missing our £14k a week liability as much as we feared. We are still losing; still shite. He can carry on seamlessly when he returns. Enjoy.

Actually, if and when QPR go up, wouldn't be surprised if Warnock came in for him.
Good for him if that happens, would thoroughly deserve it.

I'm not at all worried about Montys future at all thanks. As long as its not with us I wish him well. And YES he is shit IMHO and as long as those concerned at the culb think otherwise we'll continue to be IN the shit.
