Possibly, but he’s really not great from a technical point - which I’m sure he’d admit or concede himself. I think he’s at that stage where he knows his own limits and uses what he has in the most effective way. He’s by no means a donkey though! I did say he plays that role very well and it’ll be big job to find a player who offers an ability to get forward from that position with such regularity whilst forming an integral part of a back 3.

I don’t see it. I agree he could be stronger in aerial challenges at times and occasionally misplaces a pass but whilst he looks ungainly I wouldn’t say he technically poor. He’s not a Monty type.
