Which season did you enjoy the most? Let's narrow it down to the past 25 years and nominate the following:

My first two games were the last two home games of the 1990/91 season, so I can only really comment on the seasons after that.

I loved the "Triple Assault" season, even though I was at University in Scotland at the time. We were on telly a lot - which was good for me as I was relying on BladesWorld for my fix - and we played some really good football. If only we'd turned up against Wolves, if only Jags hadn't blasted the follow up after Seaman's save and if only Kirkland had been sent off, like he should have been - how different it might all have been.

The year 1971 is the best ever year for me. I know it isnt the last 25 years. I would say 1970/71 just edges 1971/72 when it comes to deciding the best season for me

I enjoyed our promotion from the 4th - Last day at Darlington outstanding.
Also 89/90 last day at leicester stunning.
and 02/03

89-90 season, without a doubt. I started watching the Blades full time in the 3rd tier after we had just got promoted from the 4th.To see us get back to the top tier in probably the best year of my life was unbelievable. I think I only missed 3 matches all season, England did fantastic in the World Cup, I was going out on the razz nearly every night and could do no wrong with the ladies. Happy days!!!

The "tripple assault" was my favourite season as a whole, though it sort of sums us up really....:)

As much the number of last gasp wins as anything, though the most joyous memory overall was Leicester away under Basset.

All of the first three for me. The first was when I became a semi regular and have got some brilliant memories. The next I was a bit older and became more regular and took in my first away game. The first division escape showed the potential of the club in terms of numbers and especially travelling numbers. The Liverpool game was my first as a season ticket holder (survived on pocket money for tickets and comps before that) so probably just edges it.

I think those years stand out because every game was so new and often I'd never seen us play against the team we were up against before. It also coincided with me being old enough to have that bit of freedom to go on my own so was important as a life stage. As I've got older I've got a bit more cynical with football and sometimes it's almost the bit in the middle of a day out. Undoubtedly those three seasons kept me coming back for more.

Probably the 05/06 promotion season for me. I had a good feeling from the first game, when we put 4 past Leicester (though they were the better team). I was interviewed on Sky Sports before the game and spouted some bollocks like 'it's the first year Warnock has had some cash. He'll take us up. He's bough better than what we've got in Ifill, Shipperley and Short. Mark my words: we'll get promoted'. After we lost to Reading (and dominated them) I was confident we'd go up. We never left the top 2 and despite that blip where Leeds almost caught us, it really felt like a promotion season. I was living in Belfast for some of it, but it was nice to get national coverage. I remember Five Live raving about us and us tearing teams apart.

The 4th division season was memorable for so many reasons!

89-90 is probably tops, that last day at Leicester was memorable.

1971-72 as it was my first season of watching! TC in his pomp

2002 /03

although we finished with nothing , it was great fun trying
and we won one hell of a lot of games

and div 4 promotion year
after saying , thats it Im finished with this lot , after Don Givens 12 yard failure , just missed Colchester away due to a wedding, and although it was naff in so many ways , shit away grounds , it was great fun

Has to be some of the goals that year and beating Everton in the FA cup.

Everton in the cup was in 1969-70 season. 3rd January 1970. In the next day after watching highlights of the match on YTV, I became a committed Blade

Ill be slightly controversial and say that I am enjoying this season more than any I can remember. Never have I been so confident of smashing teams to pieces. Yes the opposition might be (is) shite, but there seems to be a buzz about the lane at the minute. Look at how many fans we are taking today.

Other than that I really enjoyed the relegation season in the prem.

That is too hard a question to answer. But looking at them makes me realise how great it is to be a Blade

I cannot split the back to back promotion seasons: they are joint favorites.

91/92.

2-0
1-3
Deano v Grobelaar
5-2 at forest
Zico
Only time I've ever seen United finish in the top 10 in the country

89/90 and 02/3 had one vital ingredient. - the performances far outstretched expectations at a time when we had been starved of success for years. Promotion does it for me for the atmosphere at some of the games where we started to believe in the 2nd half of the season.
