What's your favorite Ground to visit as a blade?

I loved Gresty Road when we went there and won 3-1. Lovely place, good fans, and I was front row so had one of the best views in the house for Shipperely's opener.

I got Paddy's gloves that day, he ran all the way from the opposite end of the ground to where we were and seem to make a beeline for me and Jnr. If you remember, he let the ball slip through his hands for their equaliser so was happy to offload them !

Goodison Park as it was with away fans behind the goal, stood down below and fantastic view from the stand above.

These days Forest is still a "proper" ground with a decent area for away supporters (if you can avoid the gobbers from above).

Can't believe anyone said the Manor Ground. Must have been the hardest fences to see through when they were in place and Notts County when we used to be shoved in the corner behind the Colditz fence.

Does anyone remember standing on a big grass bank at Chester's old ground ? If memory serves, we were there on a Tuesday night and it was the week after the Hillsboro disaster so we had a minute's silence before the game. I think Deano scored in a 1-0 win.

The Millenium stadium because of how they closed the main road (no pun intended) and put up beer tents.
Norwich once you got there.
Derby and Leicter for the plentiful city centre pubs followed by an easy stroll to the grounds

I remember going to the Odsal stadium to watch us against Bradford. The corner flags were 2 foot up in the air on tempory grass. Peter Withe scored a late equaliser if my memory stands

Don't remember the grass bank as we were sat in the stand that night. It was quite bizarre. We'd been at Northampton on the Saturday (as Hillsborough was unfolding) and been treated like the scum of the earth by the police (as was usually the case).

Three days later (i.e. post H'boro) the Chester police couldn't do enough for us. No pushing, abusing or threats.

I liked all those old fashioned little grounds we used to go to in the lower divisions - Mansfield, Northampton, Oxford, the old Udders ground, Saltergate... roofless with awful tannoy systems - happy days (not that I'd advocate playing there on a regular basis)

Of the newer or bigger stadiums - Forest, Villa Park and the Millenium Stadium.

My favourite - Highbury

I like QPR, Forest and Preston and Ipswich for the banter as I now know so many Ipswich fans.

Goodison Park - Cheap Pints in the pub next to Lime Street (The Crown?). Meeting up with various Blades and having a laugh with a few toffee's before and after the game. Much prefer them to L'pool. A proper old ground. Will be a shame when it goes.

Home Park - A few ales round the barbican, watching the Blades grind out a 1-0 win in the Driving rain the Torquay after for a session.

Edgely Park - was always a good atmosphere on the open terrace.

Highbury/Emirates, Highbury with its superb art deco architecture and Emirates because its a world class stadium in a traditional setting (i.e. not on a retail park). Also had a good night out in Camden after the 6-0 loss, still singing Blades songs til the early hours.

Feethams and Gresty Road also deserve a mention.
