I'm tempted to say Gills away when we got that last minute gift of a penalty (although we thoroughly deserved the win anyway), but there's also the 4-0 demolition of Port Vale which heralded the latest goal scoring spree.
Both key moments of the season so far.
What might be the next key moment?

When the players receive their promotion medals?

Don't forget the last minute loss against Millwall either. Seconds from a deserved point before Jack chucked it away. Fairly sure there was an 'enough is (fucking) enouth' moment from all concerned after that. Recall Wilder saying he gave them the silent treatment in the dressing room then no doubt unleashed holy hell on Monday morning....Harry style.

This is what was still ringing in the player's heads at half time vs Oxford, in my opinion anyway.

Was there an actual turning point, or was it just natural progression based on a new manager blooding a new team which takes a certain amount of time to bed in and gel? Something that most posters said pre-season would actually happen

Mmmm, seems like B58 has similar issues to B56!
Answering a question with a question eh?
A true indicator of someone who has suffered a painful childhood rejection from a member of the opposite sex.
Few people understand the significance of the damage it can cause.
I can picture the scene.
A young B58, togged up in his favourite, confidence-boosting Bell-Bottomed jeans completes the outfit with his new black leather bomber jacket which he got for Christmas.
Feeling a little nervous, he knocks on the door of the girl of his dreams.
Said girl's mum answers and B58 swallows hard as he clears his throat.
"Errr, can Susan (not her real name to protect her identity) come out to play please?"
The mother shouts, "'Ere Susan, it's that B58 lad from dahn rooad. Wants to know if tha'll goo aaht wi' 'im"
Time seems to stand still as B58 chews on the inside of his cheek, desperately waiting to hear a positive reply to his request.
"Naaah, I'm not bothered" Susan replies.
Susan's mother gives B58 a sympathetic lilted-head smile as she slowly closes the door.
A lone tear trickles down B58's left cheek as he shuffles away, feeling stupid and heartbroken in equal measure.
"Why did I think I'd have a chance with her" B58 asks himself, as he tries to come to the terms with his emotional rejection.
The significance of this can now clearly be seen in his current conversational inadequacies, with a particular need to be heard.
Statements of fact, as with this case, are seldom given, making way to the insatiable desire to fill the heart-shaped void left by the effects of one simple child-hood request to be accepted.
A sad, sad case indeed.

Now, ANSWER THE TWATTIN' QUESTION WILL YA?!!!

The board keeping its nose out of all things football matters , and having total trust and confidence in Wilder .

Some fans had major doubts , thankfully McCabe and Co didn't .

I was thinking about this the other day and our last league defeat was at Millwall 20th September which was also the last game in which Leon Clarke was in the starting 11 I think.
Because we have been playing without a target man we have had to play to feet more with Billy and Done up front which seems to have been the turning point along with Moore for Long.

Ok you win GCB :)

THE TURNING POINT THIS SEASON CAME WHEN NIGEL ADKINS FKED OFF AND CHRIS WILDER BECAME MANAGER

I'd say Southend was the turning point, even though we lost at Millwall the Satdi after from all accounts we were playing far better and it set up a gradual improvement that continues to this day even when second in the league and undefeated in three months.

Football gods do not fuck this up!

Telling a certain Mr Adkins to "FUCK OFF!".
And telling a certain Mr Wilder "we love you Tufty"!
