What was everyone’s reaction when they first saw this back in ‘06?

That wide open neck meant it usually draped off one shoulder like Temuri Ketsbaia in a fucking prom queen dress. All the badges bunched up together looking shit, awful sponsor too. Otherwise fine

I have got that shirt. Really bad design so the fit was awful.

The Blades never won a game wearing that shirt apart from the Football Aid team who wore it in a game at Bramall Lane.

Never liked it. We've never been a black and white team. It's a bit like the HFS Loans red shorts change. Although I don't like white shorts on United, the DESUN kit was iconic and had legacy. The red shorts - especially under Warnock of all people - was a backward step in kittery.

Mind you, you'll have to go a long way to beat the shitbox 2015-16 kit. That gives me PTSD even now.

Pretty certain we did. It was Shelton that had the blatant penalty denied though.

A rare appearance for Nicky Law and the dodgy Kozluk goal disallowed costing us a point.

First time I've seen a replay of that Kozluk disallowed goal since the day. It's not normally on the highlights when i occasionally look for them (at least once a year!).

Astonishing decision if it was for a foul on keeper. Or was it offside?

Yeah my home kit from same season had to get thrown away, because the sponsor got stuck to itself after a wash.

Empty white back made the fan version look very bland (and Ridiculous).

Any resurrection would need a striped back and a bit more red.... possibly pin stripes to border the black and white, making it more Bladey.
