Plenty. The 1-3 win in 1992 we had loads on there. Also 2006 ish. Loads got moved towards the Blades end.Trying to remember but can't think of season, but It was an enjoyable day?
You kept quiet until the first goal went in? We scored after 4 minutes3-1, we beat the scum 3-1. I was in the North Stand for that, close to the away end. Surrounded by Blades but we all thought everyone else was pigs, and all kept schtum until the first goal went in. Then we realised that everyone around us was a Blade. Great fun from then on. Each person could buy six tickets each, no purchase history required.
I remember afterwards it was very edgy. We walked into one of their pubs and I used the payphone to order a cab. I lied and said Grenoside or For Hill or something, as I was within earshot of some very dodgy looking blokes. When we got in the cab I said 'change of plan mate - London Rd'.
September 5th 1964Some time in the mid 60s when we won 2-0 IIRC. Did Birch score them both or is my memory a bit befuddled after a couple of stiff whiskies imbibed during Lionesses game.
Can you help Silent Blade please

Wendy 0 Blades 2 (Birchenall 2)
Last week I asked my Uncle Ronnie if he was at the match. He said he wasnt at the match but couldnt remember why he missed the match. He thinks my dad was at the match. A friend of mine (now 74) who was at the match remembered reading about Alan Birchenall in the papers before the game but he wasnt confident that we would win and it was a surprise that "Sherman" scored twice in his only second 1st team match. He said the second goal was a beauty as Birchenall soared high to head in a Barry Hartle corner.

Nowt new then. All I remember going there is the roof leaked and we got soaked but we won.
1979, the day after Christmas Day.
I was sat with my dad and older brother in the North Stand. The whole block next to the Leppings Lane seemed to be full of Blades from what I remember.
It was 2001,this was the article in the Sheffield Telegraph.
Wendy’s to this day deny this happened….

TBF I remember around 80/81 they gave Wednesday about a quarter of our Kop for some reason. I was only 12 but remember it clearly.
We were sat in the opposite stand (South, I suppose). Mix of Pig fans/ Blades, right next to the Leppings Lane End. Great fun. Got piss wet through but still one of the best nights Ive had watching United.3-1, we beat the scum 3-1. I was in the North Stand for that, close to the away end. Surrounded by Blades but we all thought everyone else was pigs, and all kept schtum until the first goal went in. Then we realised that everyone around us was a Blade. Great fun from then on. November 1989 7 months after the Hillsborough tragedy. They closed the Leppings Lane terracing behind the goal for the Zenith Data game. Blades were in upper tier and the non mans land section at the side over looking the North Stand. The two occasions that I remember clearly was the Bobby D derby so 11th March 92, and the game in the Zenith Data Systems which they won 3-2 after extra time. So probably about late 1989 I think.
I was in their North Stand both occasions with a load of Blade mates. Didn't bother trying to make ourselves conspicuous as there were plenty of other Blades sat around us.
She was! She was always wearing that scruffy pig bobble hat and scarf under her white hoody.I haven't yet heard that the invented the wheel, came up with the Laws of Motion before that Newton Bloke, or that Mother Terrasa was a pig, but I'm sure some of them think it.
i dont remember wednesday getting a quarter of the shoreham apart from 2 testimonials when they came in numbers and our lot just didnt turn up know some wednesday fans say they had 5k on the shoreham for the easter return game in 1980 but thats total bollocks they had 500 in the bottom left hand corner surrounded by south/yorks police with united fans baying all round them they would have got battered if they hadnt been protected by police although they had the same numbers as we had on boxing day 15k all the lane end and the whole of the west side terrace but they have never taken the shoreham in any league or cup gamesWas that the league cup matches which was played in 1980-81 season home and away…..didn’t go to any of those.
I went to the Easter div 3 league match game in 1979-80 season and can’t remember any Wednesday fans on our Kop for that game
but plenty in the John Street stand near the away end.
To be honest let’s be realistic……back then up to probably the mid 1990’s there was a general free for all regards tickets, no membership restrictions.
It was quite normal for Blades to try to get tickets in the away end but it would prove difficult so you went in their North stand or their Kop
And vice versa with Owls all over Bramall Lane.
I was sat in the middle of Wednesday Kop near the back when…..I think D’Jaffo and Asaba scored..think this was early 2000’s.
You just used common sense..kept quiet and didn’t reveal you allegiances.
