The way I see the squad shaping up is that we're a Top 6 side, but Charlton, Huddersfield and W*dn*sday are a level above. With a little investment and the retention of Evans, I think we could

In an ideal world we'd hang onto Evans, Morgan would become fit again and Beattie would prove his fitness and sign up until the end of the season. I think that moves us closer to the top 3 or 4, but we're still slightly short. So the questions are: which positions would you strengthen and what do you think will actually happen?

I think we need some pace down the left flank, a left back and a mobile centre half. Possibly a keeper too.

I think it's likely that Montgomery and Quinn will go in Christmas and I'd accept this; Evans I feel is dependent on the court case and I think he'll stay or go out on loan (this would be a terrible move by the board). I think if Evans goes Billy Clarke will come in on loan and we'll sign the lad from Crewe. I also think Joe Lewis will sign as a keeper.

Be interesting to see what happens!

Wendy and Hudders have had 20 games to demonstrate being a "level above". Out of 60 points of opportunity, they've got zero and 4 points more. They aren't a level above, surely?

We need to look to inject pace out wide and up front. I have no idea where that will come from.

Charlton,Wednesday and Huddersfield a level above ? I think only Charlton are a level above-pace,technique and a good finisher. Mk Dons are the best footballing side and if they get a decent centre half and striker,I believe they will go up.

As for Wednesday, reduced the size of their pitch and play a style to suit them....as we did under Bassett. However, most of their fans I talk to are fearful that Marshall won't come back in January and feel they will then strule to score against the better teams in the division.

As for us,centre half, right back and two strikers please

Wendy and Hudds play one another for the first time this season next saturday.
One or both will drop points a chance for the Blades to move up the table.

As we're looking at a couple of League Two strikers, how would people feel if we signed Izale McLeod? He's the division's top scorer, has scored loads of goals the last few seasons, and has excellent pace. I think he's out of contract in the summer, so could be available at a reasonable price. I haven't seen him play the last few years though.

i think bergen that it will be the lad from crewe and or grabben from rotherham

I think both of them seem interesting. But McLeod has scored more goals this season, in a team that isn't doing well. Miller hasn't scored in 14 games.

Izale McLeod 26 apps, 16 goals
Lewis Grabban 24 apps, 13 goals
Shaun Miller 23 apps, 6 goals

Are people put off by his spell here a few years ago?

Pigs have the funds and will strengthen massively in Jan and go up automatically IMO i hate to admit it but they will. If we keep the core squad and bring clarke/phillips style players in on loan then we have a real chance. Sell, sell, sell and we will do well to get top 6.

Physicality/ Height/ Presence – We’ve been battered by a few clubs this season. So we need either a bigger presence or some hard nuts.

Wingers who can cross – this has been on the list for a few seasons

Pace – Preferably in the same package as the winger, but can also be someone who we can bring off the bench

We need more pace in our side.

The back 4 seemed solid to me on Saturday but that might just because Rochdale posed no aerial threat at all.

A defender or two would be good but it seems we are looking to sign Williams perminantly!

Another striker with pace would be good ideally Clarke.

Genuine question. What do you know about the funding available to Megson?
