Not speaking for everyone but the majority were crying out for Wilder to change it after 20 minutes. We were getting smashed but came out 1-0 with the very unlikely Bash (from midfield) getting the winner.

I am well and truely flummoxed and I will never ever question Wilder again, I promise.

Man with a plan. Knilly knew exactly what what he was doing, told Chris his plan and Chris shouted out the orders.

Will probably get some flack for saying it but the plan was all that of the BFG. In Wilders ear all game passing on tactics and observations.

It's impossible,
If he changed it and we conceded he'd have been wrong
If he didn't change it and we conceded he'd have been wrong

Tactics sometimes work perfectly and sometimes they don't, he was willing to trust the players he's chosen and they've worked their arses off

Wilder said in his post match interview that Bash was poor first half and he and Knilly had considered a Bielsa style sub after 25 minutes. Then praised Bash for having the character to turn his performance round.
