In short: Blackman is out of form, it's up to him to improve in training and fight his way back into the team.

Wants genuine competition, looks back at last week and questions his own decisions, says he will be, has to be brave with his decisions. There are targets, he has been given a budget, he will look to make us stronger with the budget available, looking also for a midfielder.
So he knows what he can spend, and clearly wants to strengthen the squad.

How much precisely does he have to spend?

CW: Jam needs to come out of the side. We have to have genuine competition. We've looked at it, we've talked to Jam, now it's up to him to get his standards back up because we felt Simon had trained well and it was right. I have to make decisions. Everyone recognises I'm not going to go easy and I believe those decisions were justified. People can talk about last week and I look back and, y'know, it's always up for debate, should I have kept Billy up the top, should I have gone with this, that and the other. I make mistakes and I look back and go, should I have done that now. Looking back in hindsight, possibly not. But, I'm gunna be brave with my decisions, whether it's team selection or whether it's through the game. That's how we manage and I don't think it's been too bad over the last 17 or 18 months for this football club.
AG asked about midfield situation.
CW:There's always targets, we're one light in there. We were always going to bring another in. We're working hard, I've been given a budget and I'm going to get the best possible players I can with the money I've been given to make us better and make us stronger. We've recruited very well in the past like last January when we brought Jay O'Shea in and bid Hans and Carruthers in, we were looking to add and to bolster and to make us better going into the new year.

Thank you very much. UTB

THink it might just be a hat though.

What is it with some of these footballers? It’s as if they have that much money they have to buy any old tat to wear so long as it’s expensive.

What about the sniff heads what cause the biggest queue in the bogs at half time, don't forget them!!!

I'm
In the South Stand. MCat is all the rage. We just sit there in our seats and drop it* The Lithuanian stewards think it's snuff.
Charlie really is so last year.

*With an ovaltine chaser and Sanatogen later, for the come down.

Must just be the pricks on the Kop then!
