Well done Hecky lad

A few of us were saying the same thing at half-time.
He’s intelligent, speaks well and highly professional at all times, looking like a decisive decision by the board to let Jokanovic go and give Hecky the job.
Think the coaches are doing a great job as well as you can see improvements in some of the newer signings that didn’t happen under Wilders team.

Onwards and upwards.

Agree totally

He is calm, not overly confident but clearly backs his own judgement.

The tactics today were great - Swansea are renowned for passing possession starting from the back and we closed them down perfectly resulting in at least two clear chances (Norwood / Berge)

Swansea - cant work them out - some really neat passing but going nowhere in not dangerous areas. Basically what i would call a fart in a bucket. As he said in his post match interview - we played just as well on Tuesday but didn't take our chances , today we did . We should have won easily on Tuesday and did win easily today but against two radically different teams with radically different tactics- extremes if you like.

Yet Hecky designed tactics to try to beat both - and some people say his tactics aren't good / brave enough!

It could all go wrong i know but well done lad

Whether by luck or by good judgement - we've seen today a TEAM and formation that can get us out of this division this season.

perhaps a few tweaks here and there - just perhaps Bogle for Baldock (unless he plays like that EVERY week).

we just need to chip away at Bournemouth week, by week, match by match and wear the others down with consistent performances.

In effect it's 6 in midfield with MGW going here there and everywhere and Billy, like a fine wine, just gets better and better.

It's game on...............

Indeed - game on

Agree totally with the comments.

Always liked him as a bloke and thought he carried himself with dignity last season but did wonder if he was a bit of a patsy this time.

I was a bit harsh on him after his comments post PNE.

Expected us to tighten up at the back under Hecky but maybe struggle to create. Derby apart we've been fine apart from maybe missing too many good chances.

However, we've surpassed what most of us could have expected in terms of performance and results, and notably imho, the reaction of the players to him at the end of games is telling.

How we set up today, I am actually confident for the Middlesbrough game, he certainly seams to be more tactically aware than Wilder, he changed it today, as he knew how they have been playing all season. (as on his pre match interview). Today we looked more like Leeds than Wilderball. Luckily we did not have a knob head ref or the bite of Fleck would have been carded early. Today was a master class, MGW was amazing and even Berge put in a multi Million performance.

Thank you Paul.
