Yes he should have been blooded earlier, he's been ready for a while.

What a breath of fresh air he is in his attitude, commitment and willingness to get beyond people.

Too many other senior people this season have been happy to hide and not push on.

A lot of people have been very negative and expected too much from our youngsters. You can't always expect them all to dominate when thrown into a team that's looked dysfunctional for a lot of the season. But if they're gradually and systematically introduced to the first team football some of them will sooner or later grap their chance and show their ability and potential.

Danny Wilson was too scared to do it. We finished yesterday's match with five players from the youth cup final team and we'll see more from them next season. Wilson didn't even use them to waste time.
