I would imagine he wants to see for himself everybody within the current squad. I think it's a good thing that everybody gets a chance to redeem themselves.

Jaysus Cresswell is about 90. I didn't know McGinn could play on the right. Oh wait, i've got him in my football manager team. I play him on the right quite often. And football manager is never wrong. :)

Always hard to tell sat within and some were sat down the home end. We estimated around 100 in our blocks.

Thats more than some league 1 teams take to away league games.

Wow, that sort of drained my, already low ebb, enthusiasm.

My shopping list looking at that line-up would be:

a right back
a left back
2 strikers
another midfielder named McSomething to complete the set.

Realistically I expect we'll sign a couple more attacking players. Possibly both strikers. If we sign anyone else it will be from the trialists.

Personally I would read sod all into the starting line-up for the first fixture of pre-season, as totally changing it for the 2nd half showed. I'll guarantee it's nowt like the 11 that start against Notts County.

What was the style of football like? I see the official site mentions McDonald played further up the pitch which also pleases me.

How did Saunders play. I'm sure he was highly rated up in Scotland at one point?!?! Surprised he's been released

First half was a lot better in terms of movement and moving the ball quickly and decisively.

There was always someone showing and someone moving in the middle of the park and communication was better.

McDonald spent a lot of time just behind the strikers and was regularly involved. The full backs tried to push on too.

He was okay, Grainger looked the more comfortable of the two, Saunders made the odd mistake and one cracking tackle in the area.

when did cresswell change his name to Jaysus? :)

I cant believe he's in the lineup unless porter was injured, mind u theyre both as bad as each other.

Tell us how Mrs. Doyle performed. Go on, go on, go on!

He's played 3 games in 2 years. He's very injury prone :(

No, they're really not.
