So where's the "unbeaten run" Gone then??

Well I'm going for a quick shit.

Can't see us losing that many more. Three of our four defeats came at the very start of the season and we're a completely different beast now.

Nowhere on any of it does it say "WOULD BE"!!!!!!!

Ya even greter numpty!! ;)

Yep, that was kinda my point kon.
That run of results looks mighty achievable as things stand doesn't it?

3!!! that came after my post...number 2!
The rest is history!
More beer!!

Stuff the cup games, the only stat I'm bothered abaaaht is 1 defeat in the last 20 league games, and that's definitely NOT patchy. :)

Yep, the only thing that matters is gaining enough points that make promotion a certainty. All wins are welcome, whether it's league or cup, but for us, with our recent dismal history, the most important thing is to become a Championship side next season. Everything else shrinks in comparison, so promotion is what Wilder will know is the crowning pinnacle of this season. For him personally, how brilliant would promotion be in his first season as manager? He'd attain legend-like status, it would give this club more clout in terms of the quality of players we could attract, and the supporters would love the fact that we'd be playing against better quality teams. I have no concerns or fear where this is concerned. In Wilder and Knill we have a first rate management team, and their ambition needs to be matched by the directors (or should that be the Prince) as we move forward. I'm not getting over excited, still a lot of games to be played, a lot of points to be won, and no one gives you anything for under-performing, so it shouldn't take a genius to realise that Wilder will maintain a firm grip on everyone's expectations, ensuring that all that matters is the next game and nothing else. Once that's out of the way we move on.....

It was a feckin' example of what the results our LAST 22 games could be for us to go up in the autos!!!!!!
No mention of cups, no mention of unbeaten runs.
Anyway must dash, I need to go and ask my wife again :(

It's generally known on here I'm a tad dyslexic. So, would someone shed light on what the thread title says? o_O

Far too deep a stat for New Year's Eve GCB, I've all on to keep up when I'm sober. Keep it simple lad like me. :D
