Was the ref biased today. Everton think so.

Just read this from their end. Only thing i thought was weird was him drawing a new line in front of the Blades players before the free kick after they moved a foot in front of his original line. Never seen that before.

I wondered if that was for the attackers who now cannot stand in the defensive wall?

Not really, they don’t need to worry, they’ve spent 20+ years staying up, sometimes due to dodgy decisions and greasing of palms. They’ll get their share of biased reffing this season if they look like going down.

Thought we got a few decisions today. One of theirs put in a great tackle in the John st/ BL corner. We got a free kick and he got booked.

That looked a great challenge to me.

He wasn’t crap in our favour other than that.

One particular annoyance of mine was his insistence on placing our throw ins, even before we’d fetched the sodding ball… yet he kept letting them nick six yards without a word.

Has anyone seen a replay of (I think...) there second goal. Could have sworn the ball went out in the build up?

Nicking yards on throw ins needs to be made a capital offence.

More like 70 years. Granted they have won a good few leagues in that time. I think we all get good and bad decisions. Always evens itself out.

Ref was good in the first half but inconsistent in the 2nd. One of those where both sets of fans would have left feeling hard done by - Everton particularly so if we had scored nearly 3 minutes after time was supposed to be up.

"Great tackle" was a stood up lunge that narrowly missed our players ankle/shin and could have broken his leg. Was reckless. Any big contact with the player and its a red.

MINIMUM ADDED TIME.

Doesn't mean 6 minutes is 6 minutes. Tarkowski illegally reentered the pitch to waste time to make a sub instead of receiving treatment for a head injury. This was at the start of the added time...
