Sorry Daz, this doesn't wash with me, and I know it doesn't with you deep down.
Firstly, he has had 4 games to work on it. But even so.... we should be looking to get something out of games against Scunnie/Palace. We went to Watford last season and pasted them (granted we only won 1-0) and they haven't improved their team much. Blackpool is also a game in which we should be looking to win, but I'm actually happy with the point.
As for him saying he is pissed off with how things are, why shouldn't we spout off about how things are going, after all we love this team more than he will. It's all very well saying they are working on it, but it doesn't seem to be sinking in to the players......
I hope it does come good, but so far it doesn't look all that good.
I understand Robbie, I can see where you're coming from. However, I look at the Scunthorpe and Blackpool games, and at the end of the day they are like we are last season. We played Arsenal and Liverpool at home, and got wins and draws. We are a big scalp in this league and teams like that are like we were against the big teams last season, nothing to lose. We were outfought at Scunthorpe, which I'll be honest I'm not entirely happy about and not used to seeing, but it did give us a kick up the backside because we were better against Blackpool, I still think the weather had alot to do with our performance in the second half that night because the first half we looked good.
Watford, that was a different story, we weren't on song, but probably deserved a point and with the slightest bit of luck we would have got it.
Palace, well we were one top until they scored the first goal and we completely capitulated, which to me shows how little confidence our players have got away from home, because as you know at home we are a completely different side.
I won't be happy if this is still happening 10 away games into the season, nobody will, but I do have faith in Robson's ability to improve us. The next away game will be tough though at Ashton Gate. Bristol City haven't lost yet and look strong at home, and once again it's a newly promoted side away in the first 10 games, which is the worst possible time to play them, so I'd be happy with a point, then we go to Leicester and Hull where I am fully confident we can get 4 points out of.
