Full of it when the boot was on the other foot back at theirs

Not so fkin full of it now and after recent form suggests they are no more than a bunch of average joes

Bruce will sort them out and make them harder to get beat, but they are no great shakes and I would argue that our first 11 has more flair than than their first 11

Glad of that result. Some if their fans were so sure they were far better than us.

So many comments in their highlighting their terrible away form for the past 5 or 6 games yet they were apparently the better team and we were shit 🤣

Well they did pump us 4-0. I'd expect us to be the same haha

Yeah true but this shows that things can change quickly as we have found out of the years to our detriment and it's really changed for them. They were flying at the start of the season. Now what is it? 1 win in about 6? Struggling to score and leaking goals.

Bringing them down a peg or two and catching a bit of realism might just teach them a little humility?

The flip side is that Bruce will turn them around, but let's hope it's not to our cost

Expected more ref bashing. I actually didn’t think WBA did that bad with 11 or 10 men. The ref was admittedly bad and they could’ve easily made it 1-1 if weren’t for Gorgeous George being gorgeous.

Reasonable set of comments considering.

In what way was the ref bad ? Didn't do much wrong i thought

If, say, Norwood had been sent off for that tackle more than half this forum would have been seething at the injustice of it.

It could have gone either way, especially as a little earlier he let go an absolute reducer by Robinson on one of theirs right in front of the West Brom bench.

I had the away commentary on as I find ours pretty poor and they had, of all people, Battle of Bramall Lane "survivor" Andy Johnson commenting with his weird hybrid Brummie-West Country yokel accent, however despite the usual shite any pundit comes out with he was more understanding about both of those incidents than I was.

If Norwood had done that tackle it would still have been a sending off . It was reckless with no/ little attempt to play the ball and ,in accordance with the rules, endangered a player's safety.A for the Robinson one, from the Kop he clearly won the ball and, whilst agressive, wasn't reckless. The ref, linesman and 4th official( who was a few yards away) didnt see a problem . One official can get it wrong but all three ?

Cheers Roygbiv

Few too many "Sheffield"s for my liking, but that's another August Slav performance avenged, so I'm happy.

Some of those comments could've been written by our fans after the 4-0 drubbing we got at West Brom at the start of the season. They'll be fine. Bruce will keep them in the Play Off contention, they have too many decent players not to. But Andy Carroll isn't the answer up top, really.

'That'll do for me' as apparently they say in Yorkshire. Well managed game by United, never really in trouble, sent wba packing and I still don't think the penny has dropped, there in shock and don't realise.
Thank you Roy.:)

"Like Carroll, Adam Reach worked hard, but he is such a beige footballer, has no end product, he just exists.”

this made me laugh 😁

After the defeat to Blackburn in November we were thirteen points behind them. It's taken us just 11 games to draw level (and they've had thirteen matches in that time).

Literally the only likeable thing about these tossers last night was the fact that they had a player whose name was almost Deane And Agana.

And we played 7 of those 11 games away from home
