For all those heroes and heroines who went last night, here's what you missed on ITV4.

Basically, fuck all.

The 'studio guys' were Adrian Chiles, Lee Dixon and Roy Keane. Forgetting that all games they televise live are classics, they never stopped slagging the quality of the match off. Numerous references to 'poor crowd', 'weather' etc. those three would make good careers out of being the hired grief at a fucking funeral. Of course, the PL never have below-par games.

Clark Carlisle was one of the commentators and was excellent - praising where due but both he and his co-commentator would have given Fulham at least three penalties and had Bob Harris sent off. (Memo to players. You are not allowed to even look in the direction of fading tosspots such as Dempsey and Parker.) Our fans were praised several times ('around two or three thousand who've made the journey down') but it was a pity you were all crowded in the corner, almost invisible to the cameras when that end was attacked.

Plus points for us (apart from speed, aggression and organisation they've been hiding all season), Flynn is a far better player than some give him credit for, Harry and Collins were immense, Brayford is a legend in the making (until he goes back...) and Harris and Murphy get mentions in dispatches. Howard dealt well with everything (not much) thrown at him but wants to drop the private distribution lessons he's getting from Long. Also, he wants to get a jersey with the same sponsor as the rest of the team.;)

Fulham? In big trouble. They've embarked on a multi-million pound version of United's 'sell quality and replace with journeymen and crap' route. Passley started well but faded, Amorebieta is a dirty cunt, Kacaniklic is useless and Rodallega's substitution was pure comedy gold. He looked stunned to be taken off (he'd been appalling) and buried his head in the dugout, looking like he was crying.

Superb, Blades. Both on and off the pitch.

I agree, I thought Clark Carlisle was balanced, although he clearly has a soft spot for Harry Maguire, as he talked about him standing his ground when it looked as though Harry was holding and pushing on occasions.

He did say that Whispering Bob could have walked for a second yellow, but to me, his first yellow looked very soft and I wonder if the ref thought the same on reflection, so a red would have been very harsh.

As far as the travelling Blades are concerned, it was impressive, came through loud and clear on TV from start to finish and it looked like delirium when the goal went in.

Don't forget, if you watched it on ITV4 that moron Chiles owes you a fiver.

In other news, I want to see that same 11 starting again on Saturday

Adrian Chiles - a legend in his own lunchtime. Rapidly becoming runner-up to Samuels as fat twat of the year.

He's certainly got a hold over somebody in TV-land. Everything he's touched has been a flop, from 'Business Lunch' to 'The 'One Show', 'The Apprentice' and some unwatchable breakfast shite on ITV.

He even thought he had a chance with uber-WAG Bleakley until she decided her 'career path' would be better served by latching on to Frank Lampard.

If anyone was to blame for the poor quality on show it was Fulham.

They were the mega Premiership side with internationals in every position.
Were just a shitty League 1 side fighting (ahem) to avoid the drop into oblivion.

Chiles can fuck off.

Keane seemed to enjoy the end result though hahaha

Bob Harris wasnt great for me, might be able to take a good free kick tho. Dempsey was annoymous, i cant believe how good he was even last yr. We were fortunate with some of the fouls tho, shirt pulling etc.

I would have liked Keane to do a team talk to the Fulham lads at half time.

It was a pleasure to watch from the first min when murphy almost scored to the last when miller did, brilliant stuff.

You're famous now, PeterNdlovu081

Guardian said:
Adrian Chiles's big mouth has got him in trouble after he promised £5 to viewers who were watching a boring FA Cup tie. The ITV4 presenter was covering a replay between Fulham and Sheffield United, which resulted in a 0-0 draw at full time. At half time in extra time, Chiles said that any viewers who hadn't fallen asleep could to write in and he would send them a fiver. However, Sheffield [sic] went on to win 1-0, and several viewers tweeted to request their cash... Another viewer, Peter Hyam, even got as far as emailing ITV, writing: "I'm currently watching Fulham v Sheffield United on ITV4. It's an awful game. Possibly the worst I've ever seen. But I'm still persisting. At half time in extra time Adrian Chiles said 'if you're still watching, write in and we'll send you a fiver each'. This is obviously a stupid thing for any presenter to say - ans I doubt it was on the cue cards. However, I'd like my fiver please. If not then I shall formally complain about your dreadful presenter lying to the one viewer. I'd prefer it in cash or cheque … Alternatively a signed photo of Holly Willoughby and Philip Schofield would do." Time for Chiles to put his money where his mouth is?
