Cheers Roy , I’m not surprised by their comments they were poor , that should have been at least a 6-0 if we’d been more clinical . They look a soft centred team playing tippy tappy football that we broke down with our pressing in there own half , they continue to play like that & they’ll be in trouble .

What were the Swansea fans all doing second half? Thought they were gesturing to G &H blocks but then someone mentioned that McBurnie was warming up

Loads of banter between G&H and them all second half ..wasnt McBurnie related
Ah ok, wasn’t sure as I couldn’t see from kop

Great use of the flare by them. Celebrating a 0-0 with a flare midweek was bad enough with hull, but celebrating a 4-0 defeat was odd. Unless they set it off as a distress signal and they wanted rescuing

Tell you what cooper is a proper manager seeing as he took them to the play offs last season and what he’s done at forest too. Happy with heggy but cooper is similar imo and will go far.

Täk Röy.

I think yesterday’s game was the first time I’ve ever shouted at the opposition for being so crap. The 937th time they got caught aimlessly passing the ball amongst their goalie and centre-halves and walked straight into our press, I was on my feet shouting “what are you doooooing?” I was laughing, but still. Weird game and I think they should seriously be asking if they have the right manager.
This is not the first time this season that the opposition have seen to give up

They had 62% possession, the majority of which was in their own defensive third whilst they pissed around passing it to one another and giving us every opportunity to knick it off them which we did numerous times.

We had 70% possession away at Luton very early in the season and did fuck all with that possession under Slavs management.

It's just pointless football unless you have some very skilful players who can take numerous touches of the ball and keep hold of it.

Some of the Swansea fans reckon they could be relegated next season and I'd be very worried considering what we saw yesterday.

They went down in 2018 - not long ago - we need to make sure that we don't end up like they are !

Cheers Panchero!

Yep, so important we go up this season, else next year we'll be penniless, without Sharp and Bash if we don't get contracts in front of them soon. Without MGW, most likely without Berge and Ndiaye. Can only see a gradual slide reminiscent of the post Blackwell era.

Happy Sunday everyone

Think we'll be generally Ok next season - a few leaving and a few youngsters coming in to bolster the squad - it's the 3rd year that will really bother me and our last with Prem parachute payments.

The nucleolus of this squad can have a really good go next season especially with Brewster back up top.

We do need to be careful going forward though.

Tell you what - lets hunt down Bournemouth by winning games this season !

We won't be getting our next parachute payments...😏

May all our remaining games end with the same score line in our favour,
Please.....,

It would be boring, but nice........ :tumbleweed:

This is good video from Swansea fan, includes behind the goal video of Baldocks goal, the flare, them going over to G & H block and also them chanting "your winning 2-0 and not even singing"

Can't argue with any of that. They didn't turn up and we capitalised.

If I had to watch that shower every week, I'd find a different hobby for a Saturday afternoon.

Cheers, Woy 👍

Don't usually read the "view from" as I don't really give a shit what the opposition think about us or themselves. Had to read this though as they were simply the worst side I've seen at the Lane for many a year and I see they understand that themselves now.
What were they doing? Looking for a 0-0 until deep into the game so they might nick one?
They were just awful. Slow, ponderous, almost self indulgent, passing around in their own half (even at 3 and 4-0) with no purpose or conviction. Pissed me off early season when we were doing similar (but not quite as bad) and surely the manager can't see the season out.

“I cannot stand this football we are playing. Manager has to go, dreadful. He will take us down next season. Two corners all game, first one on 53 minutes. f**k my eyes.”

even at 2-0 shocked me as they more interested in breaking up the game than trying to win it, very strange tactics

You know what they reminded me of? Us under David Weir.

A kind of weird possession based football where having the ball at the feet of your defenders with seemingly no pressure can be considered an attacking threat for the opposition.

They had more than their share of the ball, although that can happen when one side if 3-0 down at half-time and the other is conserving their energy by pressing less, but it was never comfortable possession. It was always either going nowhere or three passes away from giving it away cheaply. That and we bullied them all over the pitch. The third goal comes from a player making a pathetic attempt to shield the ball in their half. The fourth goal there's actually four or five players around Sharp and MGW and absolutely nothing from the defence that could be called an attempted tackle or block.

Only reason I'm not berating Swansea more than I am is because I don't want to take away from a quality Blades performance. We could've hit double figures.

"I’m nipping down to the stadium later to see if any season ticket are nailed to the stadium. I’m desperately short of nails after the storm knocked my fence down. “

Loving the sense of humour. 😁
