Firstly my commiserations on being from and having to live in Peterborough

secondly think today that was more a case of we were just unplayable and on our game and believe we would have beaten anyone in the league today so don’t get too down best about iy

I actually thought Peterborough were better than Huddersfield, to be honest.

Amazing job as per Royston!!
Brilliant reading, and what a game, hat of to Gibbs-White, Ndiaye and BILLY!! Fantastic, the Blades back, playing proper football, the Sheff United way!!!!

Cheers Roy.
“Made a 35 year old look like Ronaldo”
Bet they wish they had him.
I do think Posh will score goals but in midfield and in defence they look very poor all their #7 did was stamp his feet and wave his arms at the ref. I bet their back four are still having dizzy spells on the way hope.
Posh fans decent numbers not a lot to shout about and really should be thankful it wasn't a lot worse, it's going to be a long hard season for them.
They were shit. And we should be aware that many more won't get rolled over like that. However, we were bettter than we've been in ages and the front 3 deserve special admiration. When was the last time we scored 6 and billy didn't net?

Cheers Roy, plenty for you and Beans to talk about on the next blades pod, looking forward to it!

Thanks Roy.
I enjoyed that, but feel sorry for them; no one likes a tonking and have nothing against The Posh.

Who gets better with age.
SJ has got the players beleaving again, and the shining lights apart fro m Billy& Ozzie were the 2 young lads playing with a smile on there face, which SJ has been asking for .
Now we have to kick on.
"
"SJ has got the players believing again"
seven words that sum it up completely

Living closer to Peterborough than Sheffield and regularly fish in that area I have a good few Posh friends. Always had a soft spot for them.

I remind my pals often that I was there for both the back to back 4-nils in a week in Div 4 but yesterday topped even that for me....18 months of frustration blown away in 90, almost perfect, (Robinsons obligatory mistake apart) minutes.

Come on now Blades, let's push on.

On the train back south yesterday I overheard a group of 4 Posh fans saying that they deserved something and bemoaning the referee. In their view they should have had a pen at 1-1 which would have changed the game.

I think they watched a different match to me!

Well we've seen and it looked good.
Now let's see if we can build, I believe we can, but just let's see.
Thank you Roy.

Cheers Roy. Sterling stuff yet again.

We've been threatening a result like that and it's hard to believe we'd only scored one goal before today.

Amazing what pace and trickery do for a team. Roll on Tuesday.

UTMB - FUCK THE PIGS 🤣
That’s the strange thing though, we’ve not been threatening a result like that for two years plus. Where an earth did it come from?

I pray it’s the start of something exciting and not a one off.

I'm basing it on most on this seasons games where we have had thr majority of possession..... but no end product. Now we have that :)

I thought we had more of a pen shout than them lot.

honestly think they should feel lucky they got let off with two goals of their own. One was a cluster fuck and one was a soft pen. They should also feel lucky we didn’t knock 10 past them.

Just goes to show deludemol is freely available in Sheffield!

To be fair from our view on the John Street it looked fairly nailed on as a pen. It was in the incident just before Fotheringham pulled off the save in the second half, it looked to us like it hit Fleck on both his hands, which did look like he was blocking the ball. To what extent it would have changed the game, we'll never know but I do get the argument, although it’s interesting they weren’t also saying they got away with a couple that could have gone either way. Sliding doors moments eh🤔⚔️
