Brilliant ground. Good set up in the Witton. Went into Brum for a bit first and had a half metre hotdog in the German Market. Fantastic effort from the team learning the lessons from the previous week.

Only disturbing element to the evening was Foxy insisting we walk through the woods after the match gibbering on that " he had something for Darren"

Loved the atmosphere yesterday. My lad has now told me it is one of his favourite grounds to go to now, and has already asked if he can go to Villa Park again next season.

My sisters husband is a Villa fan, and she is in Birmingham this Christmas, so for once the fixture list was brilliant to is, and we went to the match with my brother in law and his family, and had a superb day out to boot.

Villa Park is one of my favourites, a proper ground oozing character.

One of the Villa mascots had the exact same name as your lad. When his name appeared on the screen I was pointing it out for you to see.

Yeah, that made me chuckle. My lad is a luckier mascot though as he has an 100% record.

On the drive back today he has told me that the thing he is looking forward to the most this Christmas is the match on Boxing Day and his dream for 2018 is to go as many Sheffield United matches as possible
