I'd be tempted to play him in whatever remaining fixture(s) we may have and push Bash out to RWB.

Basham has been a bit of a defensive liability since he came back from injury and I feel our best opportunity of doing anything is by being compact and nicking something on the counter through MGW, Ndiaye & Berge.
Uremovic has shown he can read the game well and be a "head it, kick it" no nonsense type.

I think Ben is getting a bit of unfair stick from a few people on this thread, admittedly me included...



I've just had another watch of this and there are actually 3 good right-footed crosses from him in this match alone, alongside a couple of vital bits of link up play as well.

Definitely a better choice for RWB than Bash, in hindsight. Although he'd have his work cut out for him with Carvalho, so hopefully Furious is back fit

Quite so. And the notion that being predominantly left-footed makes it impossible for a player to make passes down one side of the pitch is, well, … probably best if I just stop there

Osborn covers so much ground though and keeps an opposition left wing back busy. Would we really want Bash stuck out where Osborn ihas been playing? Uremovich is a good solid defender but to me he, understandably, seems to be less certain when going forward even when he had space to do so and, to some extent it slowed the game down on that side of the pitch. Bash is not frightened to go on a run at the defence and that pulls players out of position. Can be risky if the opposition break quickly but we need to play in that positive mindset.
