Not sure how any win can be boring! Being there and in the away end I’m sure at least 2000 blades would disagree with you 😊

I know what he means.

There was a kind of surprising acceptance from Hull City regards the result.
Even when losing, Hull were still quite cagey and didn't commit many men forward.
They gave us massive respect and it was a though they felt intimidated playing the top of the league.

Strange game...Hull had 2 great chances, so could and should have easily scored 2 goals ( so in that respect we had some luck).
However apart from that, Hull never threatened and our goalie had little to do.

When you play away you expect more attacking intent from an away side. It ended up being a comfortable, almost boring win.
Put it this way I usually feel nervous during matches but when Berge made it 2-0 the game was over
because apart from a 10 minute spell just before the Berge goal the Tigers were totally toothless.

Not a great display but a very professional controlling display becoming a fairly easy and deserved win.

Maybe people perceptions are different. Personally I judged it on the complete day out, the atmosphere among our fans, the banter etc. For me they all contribute to what was a great day out

I watched it at home on the Sky red button in total silence, the commentary was, for some reason, the Formula 1 race, so had to turn off the sound.
It's quite weird watching a match with zero sound, maybe that made it seem more boring that it actually was.
As I said I didn't feel nervous at any point, it seemed quite easy, again that might have been down to watching in silence.

I think it partly comes down to not watching with sound on, but I will say for many stretches we were conceding and winning possession back in the midfield without a lot going forward. That’s what probably lead to the perception of it not being the most exciting game.
